I'm writing this message out of sheer frustration and disbelief regarding the unresolved matter of my late father's pension claim. For over 15 years, my father faithfully entrusted Momentum with his finances, but what has transpired in the last year has been nothing short of a devastating nightmare.When my father passed away last year, I dutifully submitted every required document for his deceased pension claim. Momentum's initial assurances that the process was progressing were a welcome relief, but the situation took an inexplicable nosedive when the claim was meant to be finalized.My persistent inquiries at 2-3 month intervals, asking if they needed additional documents or information from my end to expedite the process, were met with an ever-deepening silence. Momentum decided to abandon me, a loyal client, by completely ignoring my pleas for help.Every effort I made to contact them through their website, HelloPeter, phone calls, and emails resulted in nothing but radio silence. Their refusal to respond to my concerns or provide clarity led me to a point of complete desperation.The ordeal took a more disheartening turn when their investigator, seemingly out of the blue, insisted that we resubmit the documents. We complied immediately, even including the DNA test requirement in our affidavits as instructed. However, despite our diligence in adhering to their guidelines, our hopes of a timely resolution were shattered as we remained stuck in a state of uncertainty.Adding to the strain, I found myself in a dire financial situation, as my late father's contributions had supported me, including covering my school fees. When I reached out to the investigator in hopes of accessing the funds from my father's account to continue my education, my pleas were met with an inexplicable silence. No response, no acknowledgment - nothing.Desperate for a breakthrough, I reported the issue across various platforms, including Momentum's website, HelloPeter, email, and phone calls. Despite my relentless efforts, more than four months have elapsed since I resubmitted the necessary documents, and there has been no progress or sign of a resolution.The painful and seemingly endless delay, coupled with the absence of communication or assistance, has left me in an unimaginable crisis. My academic progress has been halted due to financial constraints, a situation I could not have anticipated, given my dependence on my late father's contributions.This message is not only a plea for resolution but an urgent cry for attention to the plight I find myself in. My father's unwavering trust in Momentum for over 15 years should not culminate in the heartache and neglect we've endured.I beseech Momentum to address this issue with the urgency and compassion it so desperately requires. This has been an incredibly trying experience, and I implore you not to dismiss my plea for assistance and justice. I refuse to let my late father's hard-earned legacy be overshadowed by indifference and neglect during our time of need.This is a call for action. My father's loyalty merits more than silence, and the dire financial situation I face is a direct result of the undue delay in resolving this matter. We deserve better, and we seek a prompt, comprehensive, and fair resolution.
