Paid for advertising that was to go on local doctors surgery appointment cards. By the time the doctors surgery confirmed it was fictitious, MLP Media Ltd had banked the cheque. MLP Media refused to answer telephone calls, letters and e mails.
I now find they have disappeared. Can I get my money back?

report them to trading standards, not that it will prob do much good as our law seems to support he criminal and not the victims these days!
try reporting the to BBC rogue traders at least if enough people do they may investigate him and expose him to millions of people so that they know he is if he comes knocking the door

I heard that someone decided that there was a much more effective way of paying him back than using solicitors. Martin England's nose has never looked the same since (the same could be said for his underpants). It's not something i'd recommend of course, I'm just repeating something I heard and I certainly didn't derive any pleasure from hearing about this unfortunate incident. Apparently they were designer underpants and the dry cleaners couldn't remove the stains so they had to be thrown away. What a waste. So I can sympathise with Mr England's behaviour to a degree. It must be costing him a fortune keeping himself in clean designer underpants. He has to find the money from somewhere.

It's smart to look up any company on the internet before doing business with them. I'm sure they already have comlaints against them. If people would be smarter with their money, then these scams wouldn't stay in business.
