This company is not the company you wish to work with. This company doesn't know how to TAKE CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES. They do not follow LABOR CODE, they use people, all they want is money. They make their agents look stupid especially if you don't make a sale. Management people are very harsh. You will come to work around 2am and go home at around 1pm (THAT'S ALMOST 11 HOURS OF WORK, without overtime pay). They hate people who are witty and good looking. People there are really insecure to one another. Politics, jealousy, and of course making agents look and feel that they are worthless. They use people and if they don't need you anymore or they don't like you, the next day you don't have any job. People there especially management for operations, feel like they are GOD'S. They are heartless and does'nt even think of the agent's part that those people need jobs. And if you want to have something or please someone, no matter what your effort is. If they don't like you it's either you will not be appreciated or your will be terminated. Be carefull of issues, most of the people there LOVES TO GOSSIP!

my husband is on training right now. after reading all these comments, na confirm na rin ang kutob ko about this company. last sunday lang, nag orientation sila. tapos yesterday monday, he went to work at 8am-3pm. Sabi nga nya 6 days/week yung work. 7 hours a day/shift. Tapos nagulat ako sabi nya, today Tuesday 5am na bigla ang pasok nila! And ang malupet, Mon-Thur business attire daw sila. Bigla biglaan ang change of policies nila sa floor. Baka mamama eh 1am na bigla ang pasok nila. Naawa ako sa asawa ko baket napunta sya sa Medialink. later, im going to talk to him wag nalang ituloy dun. Gagamitin lang sya dun, pag di na sya nakabenta baka itapon lang sya parang basura. Nag rerequire sila mag business attire, eh wala naman silang Clothing allowance eh. Mamaya, yung mga sss and other benefits, hindi pa nila i-remit. Naku, susugod talaga ako sa Labor nyan. Ayaw ko na paabutin na magamit pa sya ng Medialink. scammer pala yan.
and i'd like to add, for the first 2 days of training, yung trainer nila late ng 2-3 hours. san kapa...

I've been given a chance to work in this com. and I can say that really there are good and bad things going on..
well lets talk about good things first, , I like the way my first ever Tl approaches her agents mataray in a way pero malambing parin she's determine to train her agents to the extent of feeding us additional info. that is supposed to be given during first week of training(I mean not during dialing)..and of course the bond that was created between my co-trainees and even some vets in the com. However, like I've said bad things are present around the corner...1.)Uncompliance of the company's own code of conduct, it state there that committing foul words and local languages are prohibited but the first on the line who actually violating these is the manager himself so for me that is actually a major turn-off. 2.)I don't know, the second rated computers and headset--it's a second turn off.. and finally the noise on the floor..it's funny tough co'z the customer on the other line will actually hear all the commotions around you and will start to ask you like..What was that? what kind of call center do you have it's so noisy, and you can feel they are becoming apprehensive...haha.. funny..just try it.. it would be additional experience 4 u...

the only problem is the break time they offer 15 mins only for whole shift.. and yung baklang shift manager na si kerby gasmena na ugaling squatter. at walang modo mahilig manglait ng agent.. masahol pa sa walang pinag aralan, baklang bakla bulok ang bibig kasi puro bad words ang alam... ang ganda lagi ng porma intayin mong magsalita... laiterang bakla! mahiya ka sa sarili mo!
Well a week after i applied in this company, i had read this complaintsboard and immediately confirmed it to my friend whos currently working in(that time) medialink.
Then she also asked a friend of her who is working there for more than a year and denied everything.
Since my friend stayed there for only a week that time she believed and definitely encouraged me to apply.
As a person who desperately need a job like me, I applied in there without thinking twice.
Ill be enumerating some things that is really happening inside the production, i swear that only truth will be stated in here:
a)The manager shouted at his agents and even TL's all the time, committing a lot of foul words.
b)If you don't have a sale at least 2-4 hours from the time of your shift, go home baby. LITERALLY
c) Everyday is a threat, you will always hear the word shouting "TERMINATE" and the like.
d)It's a must to go to work 2 hours before the shift and most of the time 2 hours or more after your work, you may not believe me but your only payed for 8 hours of work, that's it. Regardless that your staying there for a long time but your not being payed as overtime okay.
e)Your working for 6 days a week but most of the time they want you to report to work even sunday, but of course with pay.
f)Different TL's, some are nice but most of them might kill you alive. (for you to think about it)
g)Guys this might be impossible but you only have 15 minutes break for the entire shift. Try to extend your breaktime and the consequence is great :P okay, you might put into the dessert land.
h) Most of the agents who stayed there for atleast 2-3 months are still in "training salary" that's why guys you really have to have sales. Well, even TL's who stayed there for a loooong time can not close a sale, really. Okay really damn [censor]ing hard to make a sale!oooops im sorry for the words ;p
i) I heard it's a scam. I dunno, just search in "google cash secrets"

The Quality Assurance Department are good people, especially the old Qa's I missed the my 2nd shift QA's, I heard the new ones sucked they are like the 3rd batch where some didn't pass and became agents again. The HR Department's people esp. Sir DK is a great HR. For the Production well now problems with the shift managers honestly they're ok, except some of the [censor] TL's esp. 2nd shift. Hmm I'm no longer with the company for almost a year so, with what i hear people left there are crap, again except some departments and people if they are still with that company. Medialink was a good company way back 2008, well when a certain person joined 2009, Medialink transformed into a chaotic place and people become more insensitive and heartless.
Agents were terminated most of our QA's and TL's terminated and resigned. NO JUSTICE and what is left there are the crappy people.
With their crappy GM (*big and jealous) and minions. "SELFISH!"
I wish that company never changed into hell, everything was well and ok when i was there but i resigned because of the cruelty to agents and their staffs of course.
QA and TL's are good looking back then, now no one is good looking or i mean the company doesn't look good!

after working in media link for 1 and in half months, i found myself in a box full of torn and poisonous chemical, the sorroundings the people, the managers, the team leaders they are all in a [censor]ing mode! it is so hard to be part of this company your life especially your health is at risk! 10 hrs of working and an overtime w/o pay! really sucks! always in a hagard day!
2-4 sales is not enough! damn all those animalistic creatures! after my work you will be pressured to make sales and hit the [censor]s quota! im so tired being w/u guyst! im so tired being a CALL CENTER AGENT!
i used to work in medialink..thats true its kinda pressure but if you can perform and make a sales then theres nothing to worry..of course, thats the fun of it you have to make a choice and decide what is best for you and what you can do for the company.. you dont have to be one of the best seller or agents. But i always beleive in quality sale! In fact, its a hell of a training ground. a good battle ground for those agent like me who was a first timer working in a call center. On the other hand, its true that you have to work for 9 to 10 hrs and stay there for another 2 to 3 hrs without overtime pay...and oh my! 15minutes break for long hour of duty is really unacceptable.
