I have signed a contract on the 20th September 2018. It was signed at the company premises. The company failed to advise me of my rights for 14 day cooling off period which was not mentioned at the time of signing of the contract. And even though I told them that I wanted to go out of this contract before the 14 days elapse, as I have managed to read and find out about the cooling off period myself. They tried to say it is Ok you can cancel any time.
Since September 2018, I had group session for 6 hours from 12pm to 6pm on 22nd of September 2018. The second session was an online session for one hour on the 8th of October 2018, and third session on the 19th of October again online for one hour.
All those dates I have asked the company to specify what was their plan to help develop my skills, as they promised to provide me with service such as: Cv writing assistance, career planning and coaching sessions which was never delivered.
So the coaching and job application skills training that was being promised has not been fully provided.in addition no further assistance was being offered.
I was not told about any of my rights or obligations under this contract. Also none of the promised service was delivered to me and I kept on asking for my refund but in return the company asked me to introduce other candidates to their program if I wanted to claim £1200 while I paid a total of £4, 800.
This company has been neglecting my complain about their unprofessional service since September 2018, and that is the reason as to why I am asking for your help with my complain.
They are scamming students to believe that they will help and support them to find a job in Uk which is not the case. They do not provide neither Cv assistance, coaching to find a job or a new post neither they will find a job for you. They simply take your money promising to deliver a service that does not even exist.
