I contacted MAGICJACK online customer service in an attempt to resolve an issue of a request to port out my phone number to another carrier. The reason for this request was due to the fact that MagicJack Plus would not work with my modem supplied by my carrier Verizon.

After many hours online with support, I was issued a RMA and I returned the equipment and was issued a refund for around $80.00. I was charged a $20.00 fee to port in my phone number from Verizon and this was done in spite of the fact my original order was cancelled. Now that I am trying to port out my number back to Verizon, I received an email telling me to pay an additional $31.44. When I attempted to pay this amount, I could not change my credit card information for 60 days. The card I originally used was stolen and cancelled by my bank. This led to the online chat with THE billing customer service where I was basically hung up on and dismissed.

I cannot express how disappointed I have been in trying to communicate with THIS company regarding this issue. I have tried to reach out BY telephone customer service for billing and again I received no help. What is going on and how does one resolve any issues with this company. While I feel it is totally unfair to pay to have my number ported back to Verizon, I am willing to do so but the company/website will not allow me to do so. I was blamed for trying to follow the directions given to me by MagicJack customer service reps and was told that my account has been locked. Can anyone in your organization fix this problem?

I have not had any phone service since 1/6/12 because of the issues surrounding this problem.

    i was suppose to recieve a email in my inbox so i can register my phone that did not occcur
