Loblaws review: Smoked meat/dog food at $60 per kg,

Went to Loblaws College Square Ottawa to get some smoked meat from their Jewish Deli.

Found what I wanted,. Conversation follows:

Me: I would like a pound of this.
LL: You cannot have it.
Why ? It is wrapped. You cannot have it until all the rest is sold. Shows me a chunk.
Me: But it is grey ..
LL: Just cut off the end, it will be OK.
Me, Can I talk to a supervisor.
LL SUPE: We will not open a new package. No one will buy the leftover.
Me: So you demand that I must pay $60 per kilogram for Dog Meat - so bad that nobody else will buy it.
LLSUPE: We will not open a new package .
Me. You would rather lose a Customer than give me fresh Smoked Meat.
LL SUPE: It is Loblaws Policy
