Lichess.org Lichess.org Banned Me for Cheating Despite Playing Almost 3000 Games - A Disappointed Player's Review

Man, I've spent so much damn time on lichess.org, like seriously I've played nearly 3,000 games on this site. But you know what happened last week? They banned my [censored] for cheating! Like bro, I'm not even about that life, I don't give a damn about ratings. I used the same system in hella quick games, there's no way in hell I'm actually cheating. And you know what's even worse? They got this forum for appealing but when I did, them mods didn't even bother to overturn the obvious error. Like damn, I guess it's back to chess.com for me now.

Lichess.org Lichess.org: A Free Chess Website with Ups and Downs

Man, let me tell you about Lichess.org. It's got some real ups and downs. On one hand, there are a TON of people on there cheating with engines or getting help from other peeps. Like, seriously, it makes the ratings pointless because you don't even know if the other person is legit. And playing games can get real repetitive, with everyone making the same moves at the same time.

BUT, on the other hand, there are some seriously good chess players on there. And the website itself is pretty slick. Plus, it's free, so you can't really complain too much.

That being said, if you DO have a problem with something, don't hold your breath for any support. They're pretty much non-existent. And I don't know about you, but I like a little cheat detection in my chess games. But Lichess's detection is pretty whack. Can't even trust it, ya know?

All in all, Lichess.org is cool for a free chess website, but don't expect too much. Just be ready for some cheaters and repetitive games.

Lichess.org Suggestions for Improving Lichess: Ban Abandoned Accounts & Draw in Mate-in-One Situations

Hey, so I've been using lichess.org for a while now and it's pretty rad. However, one thing that bugs me is all the abandoned accounts taking up good usernames. Seriously, so many people signed up in like 2011 or 2013, played one or two games, and then peaced out. Lame. Can't we just ban those accounts if they're offline for too long?

Also, it's super frustrating when you're about to win and then BAM, your time runs out. Why not just make it a draw if it's a clear mate in one situation? Too many games and ratings have been dropped because of missed opportunities like that.

Anyway, just some friendly suggestions. Overall, I'm loving lichess and all its features. Keep it up, guys!

Lichess.org Hit or Miss: My Experience with Lichess.org

thing.

Alright, so here's the deal with Lichess.org. In my experience, it's been a bit of a hit or miss. There have been moments where I've enjoyed playing on the site and found it to be quite fun, but there have also been times where I've wanted to scream into my computer screen because of some of the frustrating aspects. Let me break it down for you:

First off, there are definitely some users on the site who cheat. It's frustrating because it ruins the integrity of the game and takes away from the overall fun experience. However, I gotta say, Lichess is pretty lax about it. They give out minor consequences and, honestly, it feels like they're almost encouraging it. It's annoying because you want to play a fair game, but then you're paired up with someone who has clearly cheated and it just ruins everything.

On top of that, I've noticed that if you let your time run out while you're thinking, they'll punish you more harshly than they will a cheater. It's like, what are you supposed to do? Just make moves without thinking about them? It feels like they're almost punishing you for thinking strategically and taking your time to plan out your next move.

Also, the game review section of the site is pretty slow. It takes about two weeks for you to be able to see your games played, which is kind of ridiculous. It's not really a deal breaker for me, but it does make the site feel a little sluggish.

All in all, I think Lichess has its ups and downs. It's definitely frustrating to deal with cheaters, and the punishment system can feel a bit unfair at times. However, there are still plenty of good qualities about the site that make it worth checking out. Just be prepared for some annoying aspects along the way.

Lichess.org Disappointing Experience with Lichess: Unjustified Bans and Inexistent Support Team

So, let me tell you about my experience with Lichess.org. I've been an avid user of the site for a while now and there are a few things that have really ticked me off. First of all, they seem to be giving out temporary bans left and right and I have no idea why. I've seen a lot of other users complaining about this as well. It's definitely frustrating when you get banned for seemingly no reason and there's no way to get a hold of their support team to find out what's going on.

Speaking of their support team, I have to say that it's pretty much non-existent. I tried asking a question on their "Q&A" section, but was met with a bogus message about having to be a user for a week. This is despite the fact that my profile shows that I've been using the site for over eighteen days straight. Talk about a major letdown.

To make matters worse, when I tried submitting an issue on Github, my issues were closed immediately with no explanation. I was totally baffled by this. I mean, what gives? When I tried reopening the issues, I was eventually banned from the Github site for no apparent reason. Overall, my experience with Lichess.org has been a real headache. If I were you, I'd stay away from these people. You're better off finding a more reliable chess site.

Lichess.org Captivating and Raw: A Must-See Film - Review of Moonlight

For many that might not know this site has a bot that plays you pretending to be someone else that your playing. If you go to lobby and see there are almost 6 or 7 players waiting on players but yet if you start a quick game lets say 1 minute game. It seems like magic there are 200 players available to play you right away even tho there was no one in there to play 1 minute games. Also if you play an opening that your used to it almost seem like clockwork the bot plays exactly the same pattern as human would not.

Lichess.org Lichess.org Review: Terrible Support, Ineffective Puzzles, and Unjust Bans - Stick to Chess.com

Oh boy, let me tell you about my experience with Lichess.org. I mean, sure, Thibault talks a big game and all, but let's be real - the support there is practically non-existent. You'll be lucky to get a response from those so-called "elitists" and @$s, who'd rather act all cool than help you out with any problems. And don't even get me started on that pathetic excuse for a puzzle algorithm. It's seriously ineffective and won't do a darn thing to make you better at chess.

But here's the real kicker - temporary bans get handed out like candy for no good reason at all (and Paul can totally vouch for me on this). I mean, what's the deal with those mods? Are they just bored and looking for kicks or something? Ugh, it's so frustrating.

Anyway, my advice? Stay the heck away from Lichess and stick to chess.com. Trust me, your blood pressure will thank you.

Lichess.org Mixed Experience on Lichess: Fun Gaming & Annoying Cheater Problem

Hey, ya'll! So, let me tell you about Lichess.org. Overall, it's a really fun and addictive website to play chess on. I love that it's completely free and doesn't have any annoying ads popping up every two seconds. Plus, there are tons of different modes to choose from, like Blitz and Bullet, which keep things interesting and fast-paced.

However, I did run into a bit of trouble recently. Apparently, some trash person decided to hack into my account and cheat on there. So, I got flagged for cheating even though I didn't do anything wrong! It was super frustrating because I couldn't play against non-cheating players or join any tournaments. I mean, come on, it's not fair to punish someone for something they didn't do!

So, I reached out to the moderators to try and get it sorted out. Unfortunately, their response was pretty disappointing. They basically just said that I was responsible for all activity on my account, which, like, yeah, I get it. But still, it's not like I purposefully cheated or anything.

Overall, I really enjoy playing on Lichess.org, but I do wish their customer service was a bit better. If they could unflag me and make it right, I'd be more than happy to give them a 5-star review. Fingers crossed!

Lichess.org Lichess: A Great Site for Chess Enthusiasts with Some Flaws

Lichess is an awesome website that offers chess players all around the globe an opportunity to enjoy the game and have fun. What I like most about this site is that it is free, and it has a user-friendly interface unlike other overcrowded and unfriendly chess sites. As soon as you start winning, the site is awesome because it automatically puts you to compete with players in higher levels, providing you with enhanced competition.

But, let me tell you about this experience. You know my tendency of thinking too much before making a move? Well, I was so engrossed in my thoughts that I did not realize I had made a time-out. Then every chess player's worst nightmare happened: Lichess played the role of the Big Brother and "grounded" me by putting me under time-out. I mean, seriously, it's like I was a naughty little kid or something.

To add salt to injury, Lichess also slowed down my matching rate and matched me with lower-level players. Come on; I can compete with highly skilled players as well as lesser skilled ones if only they gave me that opportunity. Unhappy with their approach, I decided to email their customer service at ***@lichess.org only to receive no response at all. I felt like I had been hung out to dry, you know?

However, despite all these issues, Lichess remains better than nothing. So, if you're out there looking for a website to enjoy chess with your friends, Lichess is your go-to site. You will enjoy the experience, I promise you that.

Lichess.org Lichess.org: A Great Chess Platform with a Cheating Problem & Unfair Shadow Banning

So I'm an avid chess player and I've played on a lot of different platforms. I gotta say, Lichess.org is one of my favorites. But that doesn't mean it's perfect, by any means.

I used to complain a lot about the cheating problem on Lichess. And let me tell you, there are definitely cheaters on there. I mean, you can see the data yourself, it's pretty clear who's cheating and who's not. But Lichess doesn't seem to care much about that. They don't seem to do much to catch the cheaters, let alone ban them.

So I started speaking up about the problem. And what did they do? Shadow banned me. Yeah, you heard that right. I'm only getting paired with other people who are suspected of cheating. And let me tell you, it's not fun. Some of them don't even try to hide it. And Lichess doesn't do anything to fix the problem.

I even tried escalating the issue to Google Play, but they didn't seem to care either. It's like these big tech companies can do whatever they want, no matter how unfair it is, and get away with it. It's just not right.

But you know what? I think the tide is turning. People are starting to get fed up with this kind of thing. And the solution is clear: we need to bust up these big tech companies into smaller, more competitive ones. And the ones that unfairly shadow ban people like me will get banned themselves. It's only a matter of time.
