Went to La Fleur Nail shop (11/27/2022) at 1515. Requested specified person to do my nails. When the woman came to her work area 3 times and did not speak; I wondered what the problem was but did not inquire. On the third time she spoke in a very low tone to me and began speaking in her native language loud, fast and furious. She was speaking to her manager about me as she scurried towards her. The manager came and stated that the technician conveyed to her that I had complained about the price of my initial visit. I said yes, I did because I was charged more than the stated price on the Internet. She said I was charged more because my nails are long. Initially I was charged $45 when website said $40. She said "you won't pay $40 today, you will pay $50." I told her that what she was verbalizing was not on website. She said they would do it later. I asked if someone would remove the old job for me. She said yes for $10 but no one came in what I deemed to be appropriate timing, so I just left. I was treated this way just because I had told them a few days after my initial visit that it is inappropriate to just change prices as they go along and that they should stick with what they say on the website.
Desired outcome: I would like them to be told that their actions are not good business practice and that it is right that they are supposed to go by what is in writing on their website.
