On thursday, march 16, 2017 I called the la times to cancel, forthwith, my subscription to the print and on line versions. Here it is, sunday march 19th and I am still getting the print newspaper. What the heck? I told the woman no less than three times I was cancelling, cancelling, cancelling my subscription.
Also, I just received my credit card statement and note that I was charged twice in the space of 13 thirteen day! On march 2 I was hit with $24.26; then yet again on march 16th I was charged yet again for $19.68. What? I am due a huge refund for all this overbilling. Unless my subscriptions ceases immediately and a large refund is issued to me, I shall be contacting the appropriate ca state authorities. The la times has disgusting business practices.
We have cancelled 5 times & still get billed! The last time I cancelled my card only to have VISA give them the new card number and get another charge. My bank neglected to tell me that could happen. So now I have to close the bank account. How many do the LA Times do this to & how much interest do they earn on all that money before refunds are issued? They are reprehensible.
