We stayed at Kappel Klosters on 12th August 2022 and paid extra for an evening meal. There were only thirty minutes for us to arrive at the restaurant/refectory i.e. between 18.15 and 18.45 p.m. Had we been later than 18.45 p.m. we wouldn't have been served. The meal consisted of three courses:
1. a salad which was principally lettuce with some shredded beetroot with some dressing.
2. fish with cauliflower and couscous - this was so bland and unimaginative and tasted of nothing.
3. a minute ramekin of flavoured blancmange which was not set - just appalling
Clearly the money spent on this meal was minimal and it showed. It spoilt what would have been a perfect place to stay as the hotel itself was of a very high standard otherwise.
We expect remuneration for this meal to restore our confidence in staying at a hotel under the auspices of Hotel.com.
