Filing a complaint as I spent less than 10 mins with the doctor. My child had an appointment with plastics at cleft clinic at 10am today. We registered at 9.57am and got called in a few mins later. Doctor asked my kid to count 1 to 10. And naturally she didn’t want to. We came in cold and she’s not familiar with him. We tried a few times and she managed to whisper out a little bit but didn’t continue. So he told us to take a video. And said to come back in 2 years for review again? I took time off from work, adjusted today’s routine, have to pay for taxi and consultation all for a mere 10 mins of nothing. Would have been helpful if they reached out beforehand to request for videos so this appt wouldn’t be such a waste of time and money. Please spare some thought for parents like me who have their plates full.
Desired outcome: I expect a response and waiver of today’s consultation fees since they was hardly any assessment.
