I ordered this horrifically bad product on payments, found out how aweful it was and told "Platinum Millennium Publishing" that I no longer wanted it, to cancel my membership and subscriptions, and to refund my money.

They said they don't offer refunds and after some run around I accepted however they did say that that they would cancel all future payments.

So while I was more than a little irritated over their "no refunds" policy I accepted it on their promise they would cancel future charges.

Well guess what. They didn't cancel anything and I was still charged $277 today. I've sent their support two separate emails and heard nothing back as of yet.

I'm about to simply file for a charge back and ask for a block on all future charges from them. It is my hope that me issuing complaints on these boards will wake someone up and I'll get my refund

I can't believe that someone once associated with Anik Singal (who has an incredible reputation and is a great guy) would now be acting like such a scam artist. A look around the message boards shows that him improperly charging people and then trying to wiggle out of refunds is hardly anything new.

It gets even better (and by that I mean it gets worse). Doing some internet searches and I got this website:
http://platinummillennium.com/callcenter/

On their website they admit to having a 30 day refund policy but ... and this is a direct copy and paste from the website ...
REFUND REQUEST
Remember that you DO NOT have the authority to issue refunds of any kind and that you are required to try and motivate any customer who is asking for a refund to accept a credit good towards any of our other products.

In other words their call center people ARE NOT allowed to issue refunds despite having a "policy" that says you can get a 30 day no questions asked refund.

Then like I said, they will SAY that they cancel future charges however clearly they did not cancel mine as a little more than thirty days later and I was hit with another 277 charge that they claimed they stopped.

Of course their customer service call center was of zero help (given that they aren't authorized to do anything).

This is really starting to sound like enough of a scam that I am very seriously considering calling and filing an actual police complaint in both California and North Carolina.
