Joanna seidel is an awful woman who put my son at severe risk and i am furious. Everyone needs to know exactly what this woman is like she presents herself as proffessional and caring for the children but all she cares about is getting paid so she can take care of herself with her designer outfits and jewelery.

Joanna seidel and her company was given a court order to protect my son for visits with his dad who is a **heroin addict**. The supervisor she was supposed to be there supervising every minute of the visit. Instead she went and took a phone call with her boyfriend and in that time my son disappeared. She **lost my son** and his dad is a drug addict. How can you be so irresponsible!

The police were called and i got my son back when he got hungry and needed to be fed. I furious and called and spoke to joanna and you know what she said she said that it was only for a short time and it all worked out and that my son was safe. I cant’ believe it. She **lost my son** but it was ok because it wasnt’ for too long he was missing. She also hung up in my face on several occasions once she was caught in numerous lies.

Everyone needs to know what this woman is like. She doesnt care about anything except getting paid. Protect your child **do not use her services**.

Please help!!!

My children have been court ordered to attend reconciliation counseling with Ms Seidel. During my first meeting with her she manipulated my words and wrote lies in her notebook even after I stopped her and told her it was completely incorrect. My 2 boys age 10 and 11 are refusing to go to speak with her. Because of this, she told me to park the car outside her Toronto office, open the doors to the car and leave the area so she could have
"Private space". She wrote to family court repeating the lies and manipulations she had wrote down and completely denying that she had told me to abandon my boys in the street. I am horrified by her behavior and the stories I have read. I am asking if you would be willing to tell your experience in the form of an affidavit. It is the only way that I may persuade the court to spare my children from this woman. I understand that this is a lot to ask ... It is my only hope. Please contact me at

This is a quote from Joanna Seidel's website.
"I think you have to try and fail, because failure gets you closer to what you're good at."
When it comes to children, failure is not an option. Her firm failed to properly supervise my child with a very violent parent who was openly demonstrating predatory qualities which she deliberately tried to cover up. Her firm manipulated notes, turned the other way when violence occured, and never took my concerns seriously, instead Joanna Seidel displayed aggrevation when "caught" in lies. All Joanna Seidel's firm cares about is making money from young children, no matter what the danger. In fact, she personally supported the danger my child was exposed to. How this firm is still in operation is beyond any comprehension.

I'm glad that this woman's reputation is finally being revealed.

A few years ago my family had some unfortunate circumstances - I don't want to detail specifics for reasons of ensuring anonymity - that required us to use Joanna Seidel's services. Several years later, we are still dealing with the implications of her performance and services. Records were shoddy. Notes and transcripts were incomplete, inaccurate and filled with bias and discrepancies. The impact this has had on my family and my child cannot be overstated.

When families in distress are required to use the court system, we have the expectation that court officers will act with professionalism and with some kind of awareness that their decisions and judgements have real consequences to the daily lives of their clients. In Ms. Seidel's case, this awareness is missing.

My family is still recovering from court decisions that resulted from her poor and incomplete record keeping. I hope other families are spared this pain. If at all possible, I would avoid this woman's firm.
