I ordered an entire Jeld-Wen package, 88 premium Jeld-Wen products consisting of windows, doors and sliding doors for a new residential construction on the water. My construction plan clearly called for IMPACT products. Long story short, all Jeld-Wen products failed Florida State inspection. Not a single Jeld-Wen product was impact.
My project was red tagged and all construction came to a screeching halt. Months passed, costs compounded. Jeld-Wen and their authorized Dealer, The Molding Depot, refuse to cure their blunder.
Worst of all, they are now knowingly and complacently OK with my family's and neighbors lives being in life-threatening peril. Instead of responsibly fixing the problem, they made a willful decision to fight me in court. Unbelievable!
Imagine that, Jeld-Wen and their Dealer send me all the wrong products, delay my project, turn my house into a glass bomb, put lives in peril and then both take the shameless position to fight me in court.

Jeld-Wen and their Dealer have put me, my family and my neighbors in a very dangerous position. We are 1 hurricane away from losing our lives!
I purchase two replacement windows thru Menards. Jeld-Wen did not include headers I ordered so had to reorder and took another 3 weeks. Finally got the headers which Menards ordered and asked to be delivered direct to me. Well, that didn't happen had to drive 30 miles to pick up. Went to install today and was short one window screws and plugs in window frame. Holes were not drilled thru window frame so had to do that too. Disappointed in Jeld-Wen details !
I'm 70 years old and have built two houses and owned several others. All had different window brands. 20 years ago, I built the house I live in now and used Jeld-Wen windows and sliders throughout. It was the biggest mistake I ever made. This company's windows lose their seal every few years. Initially, they were good about replacing the windows, but the more that went bad the more trouble they gave me. A couple of years ago I had to ask the Ohio Attorney General's office to intervene, and they finally agreed to replace my failed windows. Now, more have failed and they've told me they quit making my windows, so they can't honor the warranty. I found a different manufacturer who can match what they did, and they agreed to pay for the windows. Three months later I have no check. Now it's back to the Ohio Attorney General and probably a lawyer. Use any other window!
