J & T Express review: Nexfan ultra air cooler

J&T Express delivered at my house in #1Lorenzo St. Malabo, Maysan, Valenzuela City 1440 on May 30, 2023 a unit of a small contraption with the label NexFan Ultra Air Cooler for which J&T Express delivery man collected from my relative Php1,399.00 without issuing any receipt or Cash Memo as required by Republic Act 7394 known as Consumer Act of the Philippines providing for penalty for deceptive advertising, fraudulent sale, overpricing, etc.

When I came home and tried the contraption it did NOT provide the coolness promised in Facebook advertisement EVEN AFTER I used ice cubes!

Despite several attempts on Facebook airing the WARNING below there was no response even reply to my phone calls and chat messages. Even the phone used by J&T delivery man did not respond to my calls:[protected]

Here was my WARNING:

"Buyer Beware! Caveat Emptor?!

Before you buy these air coolers make sure you TEST them and SEE they are working as ADVERTIZED.

One (1) unit of NexFan Ultra Air Cooler was delivered to me on May 30, 2023 by J & T Express for which so-called air cooler I paid Php1,399.00. The unit does NOT work as a cooler. It's a very small piece of contraption running on cell phone charger. It does NOT cool at all. Even if you put ice water on the blower. It's a big DISAPPOINTMENT. And the advertising is DECEPTIVE in violation of Republic Act 7394, the Consumer Protection Act of the Philippines. I called the Supplier named on the packing label, wrote them and gave my mobile phone at [protected] toarrange with me the RETURN of the unit and the REFUND of Php1,399.00 I paid.

But up to now there has been NO response.

If you have similar frustrating experience, JOIN me in filing a Complaint with Dept of Trade and Industry and NBI."

Since I posted this warning on Facebook the advertisement for NexFan Ultra Air Cooler DISAPPEARED on Facebook.

Days later Lazada was selling NexFan Ultra Air Cooler for less than Php300.00.
