Used a company called Internation Parcels (IPS) to arrange delivery of a parcel to Brazil, they actually use DHL. The was a few problems with the delivery and when I complained to IPS they told me I had to talk straight to DHL, which I did and after a few months DHL agreed to refund my carriage charges. However they required IPS to raise the complaint and give the details ( which althugh this could build in a further delay, I understood this would have to happen ) after many phone calls over a few months by myself to IPS and DHL to check if DHL had the required details, I was informed at start of April by DHL that the refund had been given to IPS. Despite sending e-mails and leaving calls with IPS it took about two weeks for IPS to confirm they had the money and would let me know when they will send money. I am now at the point that despite, once again after many calls and e-mails to IPS I cannot get them to give me a reply, and on a call to IPS on Friday 24th April, spoke to one of the staff who once I gave my name, said the manager wasn't at his desk but would get him to call me back. I haven't received this call and believe this is never going to come to an end. Can't understand how IPS can withhold my money and won't to raise an official complaint. I do have all the e-mail correspondence since the start of this issue, going back to November!

They advertised and I responded to a door-to-door service and a fraction of the cost of the other wolves. After I made the purchase they not only called or emailed to arrange pickup within 24 hours but they went out of their way to immediately inform me that although I had just given them some money, that it was about to be not enough yet, and that I should wait around for a quote after I gave them my package. They had sent an invoice to the reciever's email address (which I sneekily switched with another one of my own email addresses) for customs, taxes, AND delivery! I called my bank and they think they will be able to clear the refund so the drama isnt over. Of course when I had called customer service they told me I had to work it out with the actual delivery company, not IPS. Yuck.

The quote and the information listed on their web page is not trustworthy. After submitting the payment I never received any labels, therefore contacted customer service multiple times and was told that it can take up to 10 business days to reprocess the order (I forgot to mention that I choose air cargo, which was listed the fastest shipment, and it was the most expensive one too) until Kimber Ross (director of air cargo shipment) sent me an email stating that it will take another 48h to reprocess the order and that I have to drop it off to the airport and that they cannot deliver it to the door so the receiver also has to pick it up from an airport. I called Kimber and asked her how long it will take to reprocess the order and which airport it could be as I don’t have any airport nearby and I cannot drive to another state. She said that she is still working on my order and it would be an airport that they will choose after booking with cargo and that I have to agree to it either I like it or not or pay additional $150 for scheduling a pick up. She was very rude and hanged up the phone. I called 2nd time and I asked to speak with the supervisor who was Stacie Ross (btw they have same last name). I was very surprised when the conversation started on high tone and actually ended up with screams and words “DO YOU UNDRSTAND ME? WE MAKE THE RULES” and I was hearing the 2nd voice (Kimber's voice) yelling behind. I never expected such a terrible customer service. I cannot even list the inappropriate words and language used by that crazy, hysterical and mentally unstable woman. Stacey Ross and Kimber Ross are the worst managers ever who have bad manners and attitude. They are very unethical, rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend using their services as you will pay twice the price and your item will be lost somewhere on the way. There are so many companies on the market that can provide a cheaper price and excellent customer support.

I have used IPS for a number of items to be sent to me in the Middle East and Australia. They used to be ok to use. But they have gone down hill. They lost an item and it took many months for them to acknowledge their responsibility. And in the end, you don't get your money back for the item, I only received a credit for their own services.

Now I have an item stuck with them in Clearwater Florida. I do not want the item sent to my overseas address (Australia) as the size of it makes it more expensive to send here than the item is actually worth. I asked whether they would send it to a USA address so that my son can receive it as he was on holidays in Las Vegas, but they wont. I asked if I could arrange to have it collected from their depot, but got no response.

My only option is to either have it sent back to the supplier, which in this case is a private ebay seller who does not want to have it back. Or let IPS dispose of the item.

Bad customer experience from their very top.

Are not reasonable about helping out customers.

How hard is it to let me arrange collection from their depot? Very hard for them it seems, or they can not be bothered.

I recommend to others to look for another company to do your shipping.

These people are not helpful if things do not go completely right.

FRAUD... that was my experience with IPS also... I shipped a tent to Japan... I had weighed the parcel in a Fed Express office prior to using IPS...The parcel got to Japan... and after a few weeks IPS charged my credit card saying the parcel was TWICE the declared weight... I sent the manufacturers specification of the tent... plus my Fed Ex weight... plus a photo of the package... I have contacted ALICE THOMPSON..( alice@ipsparcel.com ) many times over the past months trying to get the money that IPS STOLE from me... and get a Royal runaround...

If you use IPS... BEWARE This company is a SCAM ARTIST... and will rob you later !...

Similar experience with IPS. I sent a package to a customer - actually by FedEx, everything was fine, then almost a year later they unilaterally decided the package weighed a whole lot more and charged my card (which they kept on file) for over $250. Apparently deep in their Terms and Conditions (you clicked "accept", remember?) it says they can charge you as much as they want, any time they feel like it.
