In 2001, I graduated from high school and decided I was going to college. I enrolled in the International Academy of design and technology. I did not receive fiscal aid and spent $30,000 on education that was supposed to teach me about computer animation. I did about a year and half and did not learn much. I was struggling. 5 days a week we had a different class on a different program. It was like they crammed 4 years worth of knowledge in to 1.5 years.
It was a devastating experience for me.
Today I am a Chef. 2020 I gained my certificate in Culinary Arts. It really bothers me when I look back and could have spent that money somewhere else.
I'm still seeking more education in Culinary. When I went to enroll in another college I signed up for financial aid and found out that Sandford Brown is the one on my PELL Grant...? What the neck?
I always knew that naggy feeling was right.
Desired outcome: My money back
