Instacart / Express Stop and Shop review: Added 35.00 to the bill with out telling me.

On December 27, 2024 I placed an order with Express Stop and Shop.

I then realized that I forgot to order two sandwiches, so I added the sandwiches to my order.
The Instacart Website says that the order is Confirmed but invites you to add items to your order
It does not say there is a charge for adding to your order.
This is a very good option for the Stores to sell more products or items on the shopping order and Thus make more money. Win for both the customer and the store.

I have previously ordered from Costco, Western Beef, Keyfood, pathmark, Westside Market, Weglys and other Stores on Instacart and no one has added an additional charge to add items to you shopping list.
That is so because the website invites you to add items to your website indicating that there is no additional charge.
Express Stop and shop added a $30.00
additional charge that was not listed or shown to me in the ordering process and a $5.00 charge for recording the charge
totaling $35.00 Which resulted in me paying a total of $48.00 which was not shown to me in ordering the extra two items.
The end Result is that I paid approximately $24.00 for each Sandwhich.
This is open outright Fraud and InstaCart should sever all ties with Express Stop and Shop due to this Fraudulent Practice where the customer ends up paying $24.00 per each sandwhich that costs $6.00 and $7.00.

Had there been a notice in the website, I would not have gotten involved.
None of the other Stores engage in this Fraulent Practice.

Please look into this fraudulent Practice of adding $35.00 to my order without giving me notice and resulting ing my finding out when I complained about 3 bottles of missing apple juice and overcharge on the grapes weight for me.
