I had an MI on Oct. 28th. I was in the hospital for tests/ heart cath and released on the 30th eve. While there, they did CT scan that included Abd, as much and pain also. The scan showed colon wall changes and an area on concern (cancer?) and via email my PCP saw this and on Mon. the 30th she ordered a MRI stat to see what is wrong to treat. I called Inland later in day on that Tues, the 31th and the cust service said to call on Wed. the next day as it was in processing and should be able to schedule then. I called actually on the 2nd of Nov. The first time, I was on hold almost a 1/2 hr, just to be cut off before any service. I called right back to be even further behind to wait over 40 min. When someone finally came on, I was not listened to, rudely cut off and told THERE WAS NO ORDER! (when told 2 days before there was by them!) I saw my PCP that day and told her. She showed me the original order in the computer, then she PERSONALLY faxed them again (now second time). That will be a week ago tomorrow, She told me to call their office if I hadn't heard by yesterday. I talked to her MA, who said, for the 3rd time she would fax the order. She then emailed me on my chart to let me know she had sent again, then called to make sure they got the order. She stated SHE was on hold to get any cust service (or lack of in Inlands case for over 40 minutes! and this was a provider's office.). Please Premera Medicare Advantage give us other options than Inland. All who have to wait for these amounts of time because Inland does not provide enough staff to cover these scheduling and cust service issues need to start being proactive for themselves and demand other options as Inland could care less except for all the money they make off the program.
