Independent Newspapers KZN Pinetown review: Subscription delivery

From August 2021 The Mercury and Saturday Independent is either delivered late or not delivered at all on a regular basis. Complaining to the subscription department in Durban resolved the nondelivery/late delivery for a while and then issue occurred again. My own investigation into reason for non-delivery/late delivery revealed non-payment to the persons who do the actual delivery - the foot-soldiers to Independent Newspapers KZN, Pinetownin the area that I reside. If the foot-soldiers are not paid how will subscribers receive the newspaper due to the subscriber. This is unacceptable for a loyal subscriber for over 40 years. The newspapers I subscribe to speak issues of social justice yet fail to practice social justice towards the employees on the ground. Employees who have faithfully provide a service to Independent Newspapers KZN in the Pinetown area where I reside for at least two decades.
