Incentive Travel Plus Airline companion ticket - scam

I bit on a Vegas promotion to come out and hear all about a vacation package. Just for going and without any obligation we were offered several free gifts. One of the free gifts was a companion airline ticket. We did end up getting the other gifts but have been given the run around for the companion airline ticket. They have sent me to several people, several websites to fill out our information and even charged up a $25 processing fee for this ticket. After contacting them to let them know we never got our ticket (in the mail or via email) they told me INCENTIVE TRAVEL PLUS was booking our flights and would call us shortly. They NEVER called us and I've reached out to them several times from their website email address...they still haven't responded. Now the original people stopped returning my calls and are not responding. To this day we still don't have our ticket and I've contacted my credit card to dispute their $25 charge! Why do people have to be such SCAM artists? They need to really get a life!

Incentive Travel Plus shell company

Vacation Select Services & Consulting, LLC called us with an offer about a 7-night getaway. This company had a good rating with Better Business Bureau, that there had been complaints but they had been resolved. We took the offer and received a certificate which we were to redeem to get another certificate from a different company (Incentive Travel Plus). We paid half the trip cost plus some processing fees. We requested a unit online (www.ChooseMyResort.com). All the papers said we were to be contacted within 24hours, but we received no call. We called the number on the papers, but that number was disconnected. We were given a second number which we called and left messages. We received no call back. We're out $460.

We filed a complaint with Vacation Select Services and were offered $200, but I think these two businesses are working together. We paid the first company $400, and they say they did their job by referring. They blame Incentive Travel for not doing their job of putting together the reservations. But, we only paid $60 to Incentive, so with a refund from them, we only get $60. In both cases, we lose money, and they make a profit for deception. I don't think Incentive Travel actually exists but is only a website and phone number.

I finally was able to talk on the phone with someone from Vacation Select Services. Supposedly, they sent a check to the wrong address. The company sent us another check. It bounced.

Vacation Select Services never sent a check. When I complained, the representative said she couldn't understand my complaint and offered to sell me something else.

We kept up our complaining, and Vacation Select Services said it would return our money, the full amount. We haven't received the check though. When it clears with the bank, I'll post so people will know, but right now, I have little faith of receiving a valid check.

Incentive Travel Plus vacation certificate

My husband bought a 7 night resort getaway with companion air from Vacation Select Services & Consulting, LLC. We redeemed the getaway and air certificates the beginning of May 2012. Since we received the certificates we have tried to contacted them multiple times by phone and email yet have got been able to speak to a real person or have anyone respond. We are wanting to take our vacation in August. Resort reservations are the first step in the vacation planning. We have not gotten to the companion air yet as we don't know if the resort is available.
One of the other people who complained talked about starting a law suit. We may have to contact this person.

Did you call, email, both? We called and left messages. Never talked to a person. I just sent an email. Ours was a 7 night stay in Australia, with an airfare deal. Out $458.

Incentive Travel Plus Free 3 Day Mexican Vacation

At a 3 Day Seminar, we were given a free 3 Day Mexican Vacation to a city of our choice: Cancun, Bahamas, Puerta Vallarta, Jamaica, Cozumel, Riviera Maya, Dominican Republic and Curacao. We redeemed our coupon, paid $15.00, and awaited our confirmation email, which we received with a confirmation number. We were told that a representative would call us shortly. This was last July, 2010, it is now February 2011. We have called the above phone number, and emailed several times to redeemincentives.com/contactus.php and [protected]@incentivetravelplus.com with no results. No one has returned our calls, and time is running out for our free vacation. We have one year to book the vacation once our certificate was redeemed. We have about 5 months left to take this vacation, and no one will speak with us in order to make arrangements. We have resolved to the possibility that this may be just another scam to steal hard working people's money. Let the buyer beware!

Too bad we didn't know about this company before we paid money. Vacation Select Services & Consulting, LLC had a good BBB rating. We thought we were doing business with them, but then, the certificates had Incentive Travel Plus as the reservation company. Like with you, they never resonded to us messages.

Incentive Travel Plus Selling Travel Packages No Redeemable

07/10/2010

Scam Incentive Travel Plus / with Cheap Trips Inc.

All my problems began when I received a solicited phone call from a company called Cheap Trips Inc located in at P.O .Box 2036 Cherry Hill, NJ 08034# [protected]. The fact that they don't give a physical address should have been a warning for me. Their promotion pitch was you will receive a life time membership with 4-complimntary Air Fare ticket to Orlando, Cancun, Hawaii, or San Diego with the purchase of qualifying hotel not Resort, they also didn’t state the required days to book for hotel in the membership package mailed. The cost of lifetime membership was $119.00, with this membership you are to receive, 4- complimentary air fare tickets, several bonuses included in you're mailed out package, and means of getting discounted air fare or low fare as a member. (Well) none this turned out to be true. When I got ready to request my4- complimentary airfare tickets, I was directed to several web sites Choose My Resort.com, exciting vacations for you.com. The issuing party for the 4-complimentary tickets was Incentive travel Plus located at 4196 Merchants Plaza suite 310, Lake Ridge VA 22192 # [protected]. (Now here is the Scam!)
You go to choose my resort.com place a request to book a Resort you receive a confirmation number, but no one calls you back from the Resort. After no call be you contact Cheap trips, then the forward me to another web site called exciting vacation for you. Once there you're charged a $25.00 dollar processing fee to redeem your certificate for 4-complimentary air fare ticket, but before you can get the air fare tickets you must pay for you're resort booking which is actually collected by Incentive Travel Plus. Now this is where they really get you. Please go to link and review their link. http://www.excitingvacationforyou.com/redeemcertificate.php? PHPSESSID=063460ee7e0b3c1128e89bab5f07e8eb&x=47&y=6 You are required to book a Resort they charging $75.00 per night per person. There are 4 people in my party so the cost for me would be 75X 4=300.00 per day X 7-days required to book, now that’s 2, 100.00 for a seven day stay. (Now) if I had 2, 100.00 I could buy my own air fare for 4 people, plus find a discounted hotel to stay a still have spending money left over. The ending result is the Resort is to expensive so you don't book, and you don't get the so call Free 4-complimentaryair Fare tickets. Scammmmm if I ever seen one. On the serious side If you have been Scam by these company let's put them out of business by filing a (Class Action Law Suit ), report to their Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission just do something. My business email address is [protected]@live.com

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM! I am so irritated. I purchased a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas as a birthday gift and I have been trying to redeem this cruise voucher/certificate for 8 months now. All I ever get is another piece of paper asking for more money. I can never get a live person even though they state on their website that someone will contact you in 24 to 48 hours. No one has contacted me in MONTHS! I see all the post now about how person after person has been taken advantage of however I wish someone would share how they were able to catch these scammers and have them brought to justice. If I get any resolve I will definitely share the outcome.

http://www.bbb.org/greater-san-francisco/business-reviews/vacation-certificates-and-vouchers/vacation-getaways-in-dublin-ca-74913

According to the BBB, this company many are writing about, seems to be legit. It has a A+ rating. I think the other companies you HAVE to go through may not be legit. So it looks like you may have to contact this company directly and deal with them, since it looks like you have too anyways. If they are indeed legit, then they should be willing to contact the other companies on your behalf, so you get ONLY what you paid for and are expecting, nothing more!
I looked into them, because of a "deal" I came across, with the same "offers" others were posting. $49 for 2 nights at a hotel in most Florida cities, plus a $50 food voucher. There also was a $50 "deposit, " minus a $10 "processing fee."
Also as a few others have mentioned, you have to read the "fine print" that they expect you to read, but which you are left dumb after the first 4 paragraphs! It's meant to be that way, so as to confuse you. Pretty much, so your attitude is, "This is too much to read, so I'll just blindly give a total stranger my hard earned paycheck!" As if we are that dumb. Well, that's what they bank their money on, or should I say OURS!
In the end, it is good to do your research to get the best deal, but to also not be scammed. The best thing to do, is to go to a local travel agency and ask them to help you to decipher the fine print and to see if they can make some phone calls. Plus it might help to know someone, or someone who knows someone. Etc.. You can call your states Attorney General to file a complaint or to get info. if your not sure if the companies your about to deal with are on the up and up. Also, to file a class action lawsuit, would be the way to go, to get your money back and to get these companies to "clean up" their act or to just shut down. You can also contact your local tv station and ask them to do a story and tell them your problems you have had. They should be able to help you out and get your money back and/or a free vacation! If you do any of those things, please post and let us know your results! Thanks.

Same as everyone above. I held on to certificate for 6 years and finally got around to redeeming it. Cost me $35 through Vacation Getaways, I get a response from them, but not through Incentive Travel Plus, that uses various names, websites and phone numbers to scam more people. At this point even if it was free, I would not have piece of mind that a reservation is real and end up arriving to find out what all of us have. Certainly a scam. has anyone in Lake Ridge VA tried to go to the address? If I was any closer I would be all over the place with the local news and make sure the word gets out further locally. Thanks to all for sharing.

Having the same issue right now with Incentive Plus Travel. Tried to reserve some days, told me those days are only for "special people" ...meaning you had to listen to a time share presentation and be pre-qualified. Said fine, change the dates to these days... this was on January 7, 2013, have not heard one word from them. Have sent multiple emails and still no response, my deal was purchased through dealsaver.com. After hearing all the complaints about this company, at this point I would just rather have my money back, which will probably not happen. Plus, I am scared at which hotel they would give me and my wife.

I have had the same nightmare as above. Ours was for Las Vegas. It ended up I bought 2 vouchers and then they asked for redemption fees and now an additional $100 for room deposit (that must be requested in writing within so many days of staying at the dive hotel they are offering. I could not get anyone to call me back and I can stay at the same hotel cheeper on my own than what I have paid in fees already. To top it off the hotel is being called a drug haven and currently under construction. Does that sound like it is worth the $650 voucher (the advertised amount the are claiming.) I did file a complaint with the BBB and hope that everyone else does the same. For these vouchers it was through Deal chicken and then vacations75 and IncentiveTravel Plus.

I guess we are lucky we are only out $35. We 'won' a free 7-night stay at a resort for sitting through a timeshare presentation by Premier Marketings Concepts. This was a "Gift Receipt" and a Vacation Selection form that gave a website where we could locate vacation details (www.codevacation.com). We filled out the form and sent it to ITC -- a company with the address of a PO Box in Orange City, FL. This outfit returned a resort getaway certificate that we were supposed to "redeem" by mail (or on line at www.resortgetawayforyou.com) with a $35 processing fee to Vacation Getaways, 11501 Dublin Blvd, Suite 200, Dublin, CA [protected]). This certificate indicated that we could expect to be asked to pay US $189 per person processing fee to the "fulfillment center" that would take care of our reservations. We next received a professional-looking color printed certificate complete with Certificate Code and Serial Number from Incentive Travel Plus, with instructions to check available properties at ChooseMyResort.com, request a unit by filling out an online form or sending an email to Reservations@choosemyresort.com, and await contact from a reservationist within 24 hours. Their contact number was given as [protected]. The first time we looked at the website, there was indeed a lengthy list of resorts in the US and elsewhere. This week, when we looked again, that list had disappeared. We sent an email, but had no response. The telephone number, as other complainants have reported, is "out of service." After reading all the complaints above, it seems we can be pleased we were not suckered in any further. I am sending a complaint to Vacation Getaways (their telephone message points you to a contact option on the website certificateforyou.com). I doubt I will hear from them!

Purchased deal with my local tv station Deal Chicken which is a reputable site. However the trip was 3-day 2 night vac to Myrtle Beach SC for $59.00. You would need to complete a reservation request 30 day with a $50.00 Refundable Deposit by check or Certified Check. I completed all requirements & waited. Finally got a response via e-mail. I request where I was staying & the accommodations. Got e-mail after several request. But the problem really began when I asked for a confirmation in my name to the Hotel which was a Courtyard at about 5-10 miles from the beach. I requested the confirmation many times. Finally I tried to call the office of vacs75 only voice mails. I received a return call from a man that gave me assurance I had reservation. The confirmation no He gave was not a confirm no to Courtyard nor did .they have my name
I really had to get somewhat demanding with more than 10 emails to Vac75 & calling Courtyard on a daily basis 2 weeks before my arrival date. After more demands I called Courtyard 3 days before my arrival & they had my name. Vacs75 was very unassurring of my stay. They never gave a name to refer in any e-mails. In fact for several days their v-mail was full. Also there was an upchag for my weekend of 25.00 per night plus taxes. I would not recommend this Co again due to the mere reason the Robert man gave me a excuse of "I assure you you have a confirmation" A assurance is not a confirmation no that is correct. There was no attempt to get me to look at no kind of resort or any timeshare. That was the upside to the whole situation. You really need to read the reveiws of this co. If I had read I would have never purchased. all my othere deals with deal Checken have been great & delivered perfectly Not This One Vac75 patrons need to be warned about them

Thank you all for posting these issues. I too have sent my $15 to receive the Reservations Request form, but now will cut my losses and end this scam now. Think of the money these crooks have gotten from all of us for just having a website and no morals.

SAME ISSUE! I purchased a vacation voucher for a trip to the Bahamas through a reputable website but was then prompted to redeem the voucher through incentivetravelplus.com. I paid a processing fee of $50 and was told that my reservation was confirmed and should expect a follow up phone call or email to give reservation info but not to contact the hotel directly. Long story short, I hadnt received any correspondence from the company since June 8, 2012 so I did contact the hotel and of course they had no record of me. I was informed by the hotel agent that this company is known to do this sort of thing to customers and when they arrive at the hotel expecting to check in, they are charged the regular hotel fee. The agent explained that "David" from IPT never sends payment to the hotel. After the agent sent an email to IPT on my behalf to confirm my reservation, "David" said the same exact thing, that the hotel should charge me upon arrival. I was sent an email from IPT on Aug. 6, 2012 stating that no monies had been applied towards my vacation and i needed to pay upon arrival. This email was sent ONE day before my flight to Jamaica! I replied and questioned the purpose of the processing fee and more importantly, I had prepaid the vacation voucher so i didnt understand the nature of these additional charges and described the lack of professionalism from the company and the failure to mention these charges months ago. I have since purchased a hotel stay elsewhere, but I do intend to send IPT my new hotel bill for payment which of course they're not gonna pay, then ultimately take my case to small claims court cause this is definitely a fraudulent, scam of a company!

Yup. Looks like I was taken too. I sent in $40 for plane ticket vouchers and resort certificate then another $50 room deposit. Stupid me. My husband's going to give me a big 'ol "told ya so" on this one. What a drag. I'm in for filing complaint. Let me know what we need to do.
