Even after I have paid 928.25 to the broker and 1020.00 to Hunter Relocation, they did not tell me about the weighing until March 24, 2011. I gave some of my furniture away. After they weighed it, I was told by Peter at Hunter Relocation that I still need to pay 2678.24 total for moving costs. Before the weigh in, I was told by Budget Van Lines that I owe 1017.38 after delivery. I paid 1020.00 on March 29, 2011 for one of Hunter Relocation’s trucks to take my item to their storage facility so they can rack up storage and other fees. I spoke to Peter in May 2011. He agreed to allow me to pay the remanding 2678.24 (even though I do not agree with this amount, I am being forced to pay it to be able to get our things sent to us) in July 2011 and then Peter stated they would deliver my things and I can make payment on storage fees. Storage fees are 350.00 monthly. I paid 350.00 for April 2011 (even though I told them the move in date was April 29, 2011-I was told to make it as far out as 30 days from pick up date which was March 29, 2011). I sent 200.00 towards May 2011 storage fees on July 8, 2011. I spoke to Peter today and he changed the agreement between us and is now saying that I have to not only pay the 2678.24 but I have to pay the full storage fees before it is delivered off the truck instead of me making payments on the storage fees like he agree to in May 2011. Peter is trying everything he can do to keep my items. They received 1020.00 on pick up (from Lawrenceville GA) to take it to their storage unit where they are keeping me and my children's items hostage. I have 19 boxes of personal items that can not be replaced and the rest is bedroom and living furniture, TVs, patio furniture, treadmill. Also they did not do an estimate after getting my account from Budget Van lines like they do with other customers. They also sent over a small truck to pick up my items only and not the trailer (that includes other items) like they told me they were. The delivery driver commented on me being disabled. He stated "You don't look like you are crazy!" just out of nowhere. My children were in a room so my 4 yr old would not get in the way of the movers and Mr. Zilly who is Jason. He signed his last name as Zilly. (the mail delivery man) stated "Maybe you should let them out of the room anyway!" after he asked me where were my children which is none of his business. He asked me a lot of personal questions and it was a very uncomfortable situation. Peter is nothing more than a theif! He is a liar! He is a conartist! I just hope that they do not damage my items in retaliation!

I just want everybody that is inquiring about Hunter Relocation/Zen Van lines that this is an update from my last post. They finally delivered my items on September, 21 2011 after keeping our items hostage since March 29, 2011. Peter from Hunter Relocation was forced to return my items by DOT but they were returned vandalized. All of my items have been shredded and broken into pieces. Two flatscreens were stolen from me and never delivered. Peter stated he was going to damage my items. I have since filed a police report and now have to file a claim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE THEIVES AND THEY HOLD ITEMS HOSTAGE SO THEY CAN GO THROUGH ITEMS AND STEAL. THIS COMPANY TREATS YOUR ITEMS LIKE A FREE FOR ALL OR GARAGE SALE. PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF HEARTACHE AND RUN FROM THIS COMPANY ASAP! IF ANYBODY WANTS TO SPEAK ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCE, PLEASE LEAVE ME A MESSAGE ON HERE AND I WILL CONTACT YOU. I ALREADY HAVE 2 WITNESSES THAT ARE WILLING TO TESTIFY WITH ME. THANK YOU!

Hunter is the worst company ever. They were supposed to deliver my goods at 7 am and I was waiting for them. Instead, the movers showed up with my belongings at 8:30 pm, after the driver had been driving for 13 1/2 hours. I requested they wait until the next day, until daylight, to unload my 31, 000 pounds of goods. Mark and Peters said that if they waited overnight, I would have to give them an additional $1500 in cash to get my goods. So their movers, and 3 untrained day workers they hired, unpacked my goods for 8 hours, upping their total work hours to 21 hours straight, which is clearly illegal and dangerous. They then drove one of the trucks with my goods at 4 am, so they worked for 23 hours straight. I had begged them to wait overnight to start unloading, as it was very dark in the backyard, I was tired, the movers were exceeding hours and were tired, and it was dangerous for us all to be exhausted . Also I was a single woman stuck with 5 men in a dark backyard all night, a dangger in itself. The movers had the next day off, and Hunter told the movers they did not want to pay them for another day, so they had to stay up all night. The day workers they hired for $6.75/hours had no idea what they were doing. They dropped my expensive china cabinet on its side and destroyed it. Theywheeled in my piano on a dolly without floor protection, and ruined 3 rooms of Victorian hardwood floors. (I had paid extra for piano moving and they did not have the proper equipment.) Now they are lying toBudget, who was the broker who subcontracted for Hunter for the move. I strongly recommend avoiding Budget and Hunter at all costs, they are both unprofessional and Hunter has illegal and immoral business practices. They are total liars, per what they have told Budget, stating that the movers had not been driving all day until 8:30 pm. So where were they? Sitting down te block for 13 hours while I waited? No, they were violating DOT regulations by overworking their employees and exploiting a customer. They acted like Nazis to me, insisting as an older woman I had to stay up all night. The movers had to come the next day to complete the job anyhow, it was hard for them to unload in pitch dark, there were no lights, and no flashlights. Hunter is the worst. And Budget seems to love them, so avoid Budget, as well.

Worst moving company that I have every did business with. DO NOT use them. Take my advice and find someone else. They are scam artists; Paul Bedi, Peter Singh, even Shelly the receptionist. Every single one of them. If you have already been scamed contact the FBI, Dept. of Transportation (DOT), and the GBI.
