Hungry Howies Pizza #00161 review: Over charge for pizzas and poor management skills

On 9/3/2022, I called in an order #63 to pick up 2 large Pizzas. First of all, the call was taken by someone at a call center who does not speak English very well. I ordered one pizza with 2 toppings for $9.99 and a second pizza with 3 toppings for $11.99. My total bill was $25.65.

When I arrived to pick up my pizzas my bill included a charge of $1.99 for a MEAL DEAL for the $11.99 pizza. When I questioned the clerk about the MEAL DEAL charge she said I was charged incorrectly but she was unable to refund my money because the Manager did not give her the code to make refunds. She said she would speak with the Manager about it the next day and he would call me around 11AM. Well, he never called so I called him at 3:30PM today.

When the Manager finally came to the phone he was short, sounded irritated and extremely rude. He explanation for the extra charge was that it was a coupon. Last time I checked, coupons reduce your bills they do not add to them. He then proceeded to tell me "long story short" my bill was correct and he ended the call abruptly after saying "good-bye." Well, they can kiss my business good-bye too at 21222 Mariner Lutz, FL 33549.

Customer service is still important whether they believe it or not especially when I'm spending my hard-earned money and I have no problems taking my business elsewhere.
