Torrey Hughes is an extremely difficult and vile person to work with when you have commissioned his work. He does not take responsibility for his flawed motion machines that he creates that do not meet the sales pitch he presents. The machines themselves are loud, clunky and cheaply made.

I purchased a wave machine from his website recently and it arrived with several obvious defects. When contact Torrey Hughes he was combative from the start and blamed the issues on myself. The machine he made was no where near up to standard as it was very loud and flimsily made. I ask for him to repair it for me but he said he would rather just refund me then try to fix it or send me one that works. I mentioned that I would gladly pay the shipping costs to L.A. and back if he just repairs it. It seems Torrey Hughes would rather just lose a customer than put any real effort into his work. When that doesn't work he starts making personal threats at you that the police even have to get involved.
