Absolutely, asking for a higher salary or negotiating the one they're being offered can greatly improve their economic situation. Most people who work for a company are allowed to influence their salaries with their employer and those who are freelancers can set the desired rates for each work. One should be aware of their worth, comprehend the industry standards, and try to engage their counterparts in the conversation while effectively conveying their sense of worth. When the negotiations are successful, such earnings retention allows individuals to increase what they can use or spend their way, enhancing the state of their wealth.

Why do these guys think we all work in offices and can ‘negotiate’ a pay rise? I, a skilled worker but get paid a salary along with thousands of others doing the same job. Our union negotiates our pay rises not us as individuals. These people need to realise that!

If had a £ for every time I hear about earning more money but then people increasing their spending on new car ectc. Wish I had the luxury of playing what you do travel but employer changed location I'm my final year of excess fares. I pay maximum into pension and employer makes a contribution. Your in correct in shopping around when contracts are up for renewal. I shaved over £100 per month on energy for my home. My employer doesn't have pay freedom your does and won't do individual pay deals
