Beware of Matthias Thoma. He is a German national who lives part time in Vancouver, Canada. He is also known to reside in Switzerland and occasionally India. He has scammed investors by claiming to invest money in a trading program for currencies, oil and gas and precious metals. In three years, he has never provided any proof that he has invested the funds, no statements, no trade confirmations, no documentation of any kind. He claims to have sent money orders to those who have requested a return of funds. He has never done so. When contacted he is arrogant and dismissive of anyone who asks him to honour his obligations to pay the money he admits that he owes. BEWARE OF THIS PERSON, he is a grifter and a thief.

the same happened to me.. I live in germany and i started an investigation about this guy. What do you think is the best? I think if we start an organized campaign we can stop him and his actions? Can you provide you emails, so we can set up a group?
The good news in all of this is that he no longer has a home base in Vancouver. Good riddance to bad rubbish. If he does stay here, I have nothing but sympathy for anyone who does any business with him of any kind.
In Vancouver, one creditor successfully sued and had Mr. Thoma's penthouse sold under court order. Could not have happened to a nicer guy.

Matt Thoma has been posting on http://infovestment.wordpress.com/about/ . All of his previous sites have been taken down. He still offers "financial advice" and attempting to scam people. There is an attempt to get together all the people that he scammed for a legal action.
Matthias Thoma is a con-artist. His ventures (billionairio.com, infovestment.tv) are just a bait for people to give him the money for which he doesn't provide any real service. Billionairo was a "one-billion dollar prize" idea which never took off. According to a person who closely followed his activities, Billionairio barely sold a couple dozen tickets! It was supposed to sell tens of millions of tickets in order to be able to pay 1 billion in prize money! Infovestment, on the other hand, was a more typical scam. You give him the money, he "invests" it for the whole group and, in his words, you get a decent payback out of it. That never happened, either. Finally, his longest lasting scam involved cajoling people into giving him money (10, 000 Euros) to have it invested as he claims that he used to be a banker and that he "knows" his way around currencies. People are greedy so it's a small wonder that he managed to collect money from so many individuals. I doubt that any one of them was able to get the money back. M.Thoma resides in Vancouver, according to some accounts. Do NOT do any business with this individual.

Aktuell versucht er sich mit Pressenachrichten im Internet (Infovestment.com) Seine Kommentare sind kompletter nonsens. Schwachsinn hoch drei! Es sind mehrere Klagen anhängig, u.a. in Kanada und Deutschland.

Continues to hold money hostage from investors lying to them, telling them every reason in the book why they cant have whats rightfully theirs. Matt is still living in Switzerland - sounds like a few more people are looking to start legal action on this scammer. Don't do business with this guy or his wife Maike - they are crooks.
by the way: Matthias Thoma is still very active on twitter, the swiss one, is his "official name" overthere! He is a german national, so what...!? Apparently a couple of thousand followers are interested in his stupid market comments. Most probably fake as well.
There are several legal actions against this criminal couple in process. I believe that they will be removed from the market! Matthias and Maike Thoma are interested in your money nothing else.
Have we tracked down the scam artists yet? Are Matthias & /name removed/ Thoma back in Yaletown Vancouver with their sons /names removed/ stealing more money from investors? Or hiding in Switzerland? Beware of this family they are thieves ! Matt has stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars from global investors. Stay away from Chezzter.com, Infovestment.tv, hopscotch technologies ltd., Billionairio.com all scams !

I made once business with Matthias Thoma. With his "project" Infovestment I invested 10.000 Euros. He, Matthias Thoma, traded currencies. My money was gone within a couple of weeks. I even believe that the Varengold Bank did some monkey business with him! Matthias Thoma is totally incompetent! He believes that knows everything. But he knows nothing.
