HomeEnvy/Bath Envy

I red these reviews. Same story of delays, stalling, and unprofessional conduct. Someone needs to do something about these kinds of corrupt business practices. I have been stalled by Lisa as well and have tried to contact Home Depot. This is really a bad situation and no one should rely on Home/ Bath Envy for any project.

I gave HomeEnvy/Bath Envy some money to do up my bathroom. I already gave them $11000, but they haven't done anything yet. They told me they only have one guy for this area in Illinois, and he's sick. They were supposed to start today, but I've been waiting since January for them to start in June or July.

Me and my wife, we're both in our 70s and we needed a walk-in shower for safety. We went to Home Depot in Seymour, In. and they told us about Home Envy. We signed a contract on November 18 and paid almost $6,000.00 as a down payment. But until now, no work has been started yet. They're asking us to pay the remaining balance of almost $6,000.00 before they start any work.

This company is not very professional. They lie a lot. They told me my bathroom remodel would take 10 weeks, but it's been over 9 months now. The sales guy didn't even put in my order until 2 months after I signed, which is when they should have scheduled my install. When I called to ask about my remodel, nobody told me it was just put in. They all lied and said there was no update. One time, I called and said my shower was leaking and I was using vice grips to stop it. The lady I spoke with told me to get a gym membership to take a shower if my shower goes out before they remodel for me. She said this a few times. I've had to cancel important family events because HomeEnvy/Bath Envy canceled or rescheduled at the last minute. During my install, the contractor was 3 hours late, so I lost a whole day of work and money for no reason. He was late every day, disappeared, left early, and I even saw him lying in my front yard for over an hour. Because the materials I ordered were wrong, the contractor had to order new materials and schedule another time to come back and finish my bathroom. A month later, I canceled my plans to attend a friend's wedding to finish my bathroom, but the contractor canceled last minute. I had to reach out to him to find out what time he was coming. This has been the worst experience I've ever had, and I regret choosing this company.

I got my bathroom fixed by HomeEnvy/Bath Envy on May 19. Home Depot gave the job to them. The contractors came to my house to measure and tell me how much it would cost. It was $10,225. They said they would start on August 25, and finish on September 8. But on August 5th, Joyce called me and said they couldn't start because they didn't get the parts. She didn't say when they would start. She said she would call me once a month to tell me what was happening. But she didn't call me. I called Lisa in October and she said she would get someone to call me. But nobody called me. I called Lisa again in November and she said she would get someone to call me. But nobody called me. I called Lisa again in February and she said Joyce would call me. Joyce called me and said they were still waiting for the parts. I asked why she didn't call me once a month like she said she would. She said she did call me, but she didn't. I called Home Depot and they said they couldn't help me. I asked for my money back. They gave me $7,200 back.
