Higgins Cladding Limited review: Non delivery of order that was purchased, followed by non-release of refund

Neil Higgins whom I believe is the owner of Higgins Cladding Ltd has acted in a completely unprofessional manner.

I made an order with the firm via bank transfer, following an official quotation for products that the company advertised on their website.

Over a period of 3 weeks, I was told daily that the order would be arriving within the coming days. After 3 weeks of waiting and both myself and my end client being left in a position where we completely lost trust in Neil. I followed up with Neil with an ultimatum which was reasonable. Please could I have a guaranteed delivery date, or please could I have a refund.

Neil replied to say that he could not guarantee a delivery date; at which point I asked for a refund.

Following this I provided my bank account details and was told that the payment would be made on the Friday of that week. Friday came around and no payment. On Monday I chased the payment and was told that it must be being held by the bank and he would investigate.

On Tuesday I was then told the payment was on a BACS payment and would land on Wednesday.

On Wednesday; Neil told me he has been on the phone to the bank for an hour at 13:00 and was still on hold. I asked Neil to simply send me a screenshot of the transaction, or a screenshot of his mobile phone that would suggest he had been on the phone to the bank.

He replied to say that he was using an old-style house phone that had no screen and that he couldn't send a screenshot of the transaction due to GDPR.

I would suggest that Neil never actually sent, or tried to send the materials and he has also not tried to refund me.

I have been fed a number of lies to cover up the fact that Neil has likely used the money to fulfill other business requirements or to fund his own personal life.

I am now in a situation where Neil is not responding to me at all

Furthermore I have done some research on him and his company, he is using a fake name which is a mix of 2 people assoicated to the company on copanies house. I have attached the proof. He is calling himself Neil Higgins
