I wanted to treat myself for my birthday on 4/3/2022, so I went online to find a place to make a purchase. I came across Heritage Arms Store and decided to give them a try. At first, everything seemed to be going smoothly with my order. However, things took a turn when they started making excuses about my payment method. Despite providing all the necessary documents, they still put a hold on my order. Frustratingly, I sent the payment to an email they provided, but now they won't respond to me. My order number is 2686, and the total amount is $179.39. It's now 4/19/22, and I'm really hoping someone can help me out with this situation.

I ordered from Heritage Arms Store on Nov 17, 2021. I sent the money through Cash App as they requested. They gave me an order number and confirmed my order. They said it would be shipped in 2 days. However, I didn't receive my order after 2 days, so I went online to check if there was a problem. They said there wasn't and gave me a tracking number to track it. I checked the shipping company, ***, and it said my order was on hold. They asked me to send $700.00 for insurance to release my order. They promised to reimburse me once I received the order. I didn't send the money, of course. I contacted Heritage Arms Store again and asked for a phone number to speak to someone. They gave me a number to call. After several tries, I finally got through to a man with a foreign accent. I explained the problem, and he confirmed that I needed to pay $700.00 to get my order. He assured me that they would refund the money once I received the order. We talked for about *** minutes, and then he abruptly hung up on me. Heritage Arms Store messaged me, telling me to trust them and go through with the payment to get my order. I refused and asked them to cancel the order and refund my money. They claimed they couldn't do that. I have all the confirmation on my phone, but I didn't record the conversation with the man. I learned my *** lesson about trusting a company without knowing it was a scam. I just hope others will be aware of what happened to me so they won't fall into the same trap. Thanks
