I live in Sydney and I have the same problem; Helpmedownload takes AUD$11.19 every month for nothing and it has been the case for more than 9 months now; it's impossible to contact them!
Does someone in Alberta have a solution? I just want to unsubscribe.

Hi Don Would be interested to see if you have had the situation resolved. I think the scam could be they remove money invest it and then after a long time give it to you back. Or was I a lucky one and had my money repaid Ken

I was also charged $16.70 on my credit card by this company. I saw it on my credit card statement for June and I didn't recognize the name of the company. I received an email today from "rebills@helpmedownload.com", it mentioned that they will charge my credit card again for July. I called the customer service number that was with the email. The person I spoke to wanted me to verify my email address and my address. I didn't fell comfortable giving my address as "How would they have my address?" I never gave them my address in the first place. I asked if he had my address in front him, he said no. But, he wanted me to verify my address as he couldn't find me in their system?. I refused to give him my address but conviently he was able to pull up my info with the just my City and Province?. He said he will issue a refund and it will take 15 to 30 days. He said that my computer will not get security updates now that I have cancelled the membership. He was not too concerned that I didn't authorize this monthly charge. I have contacted my credit card company inregards to this and they will issue me a new credit card number.

I am sending this email in order to request credit of $63.70 for a transaction done on 110608.

I no longer need this because I have found another way to resolve this. Actually, i was not aware that I was being billed. i thought this was a free download of software I was attempt.

I have never heard of this company and I certainly did not give them my credit card #, but they cotinue to charge me monthly, they are a ripoff plain and simple, cannot get a hold of them over the phone. PEOPLE BEWARE! I am having a very hard time getting this issue resolved.

I had a debit of $37.00 from this company I called them spoke to "ronald" in INDIA I believe and he offered to refund my charge but with a processing fee of $9.95. I questioned this charge so he placed me on hold spoke to his supervisor (or went and got a coke) and came back an refunded my entire charge stating it can take 5 -40 days to receive credit.. cross your fingers for me...

I have been trying to get a refund of 75 pounds that was debited from my Mastercard.
I dont know who Download.com are but i have not ever received even a letter or email of any kind from them.
