I obtained a soft coated wheaten puppy from this kennel. I thought they were a legitimate kennel, but it turns out they are a puppy mill. The puppy was terrified of everything. When I stood up she crouched I fear. If I moved toward her she ran and hid. She was afraid to go outside and if I took her out she was afraid to come inside. It's obvious she has had little or no human interaction in her short life.
I should have checked first. This kennel sells 9 different breeds of dogs plus several versions of mutts for up to $1800. They haave hundreds of dogs and currently have 50 puppies for sale..
Stay away from this place
We absolutely love Heartland Classics! We just put down our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that we purchased 13 1/2 years ago and will buy our next dog there too. Our son and his wife and a friend of ours also purchased Cavaliers there and they are wonderful dogs. The owners of Heartland Classics are lovely people, very responsible and absolutely not a puppy mill. They currently have four dogs for sale.
