This outpatient treatment facility is funded by the office of state courts administrator, Missouri department of corrections and works with a large portion of probation and parole clients. They do not have a male employee available to monitor the UA screenings as advertised. This is allowing for those that struggle with addictions to go without monitoring, allowing for consumers to provide false urine to assist them in “completing” treatment successfully when they are in fact still using illegal and illicit drugs on probation or parole. This risks the lives of these addicts and is unethical. There have been numerous months documented of males receiving no monitoring for UA Screenings and these false (negative) UA results are used in court hearings as proof of sobriety and are granting those on probation and parole the ability to use drugs while actively participating in outpatient addictions treatment. The counselors, many of whom have a masters degree in counseling, are asked to testify in court, when they, in fact, do not believe these unsupervised male UA screening results are fair and accurate. This needs resolve at the 103 North Main Independence MO, location as soon as possible. This company also discriminates its employees, violating the civil rights act title, seven and many of the federal and state statutes. This company has had more than one employee file complaints with the EEOC, for showing no reason justifiably for discontinuing employees jobs. Rules and procedures are put in place discriminating against the male population of clients they are to be serving, whom deserve to be supervised when providing UA screenings to ensure safety and proper monitoring while they seek treatment to gain sobriety. This places their lives at risk should they have relapsed and is totally risky and unethical on many levels.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: This place of business should be audited and shut down for risking others lives and for discriminating against certain protected classes of employees, intentionally causing harm.
