We paid for ($1400.) and had a puppy shipped($450.) to us only to find out she has a heart murmur. She was supposed to be breedable. Our vet said it is genetic and she should not be bred. They admitted they had dealt with heart murmurs with other puppies, so are aware their bloodlines are flawed. After having her for 2 months now Alexanders want us to pay $500. to ship her back and another $500 to ship us a new puppy. And they won't have another puppy for months. Why would we want another puppy from this puppy mill? We asked to be refunded 1/2 of the cost of the puppy for vet costs and they said return her at our costs and we can get a different puppy in the future. Their guarantee is worthless and they are breeding defective puppies. Happy to give out the details, and share the e-mails we exchanged.
I do agree. I just hope others don't pay these people lots of money for puppies only to find out they my only live for a year or two. Was looking for the companionship and herd protection first off. And yes these are probably folks just trying to make a buck. Or they would care about their reputation as breeders. As they have dealt with heart murmurs in the passed, I find it unlikely they missed this one, and wonder how many other puppies in this litter have it. We will keep her and she will have a great life however long that is. I didn't want her to go back and be someone elses heartbreak, or end up in a puppy mill being bred
