I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the graduation portrait I ordered for my son and the customer service I received afterward.
I paid for a professional graduation portrait, including an additional fee for touch-ups. When I received the portrait, however, it was not properly cropped. Part of my son’s graduation cap was cut off, while unnecessary background was visible. The touch-ups I specifically paid extra for also were not completed. Overall, the photo did not look like a professional portrait.
I contacted customer service and spoke with three different representatives. Each person assured me that if I returned the original portrait, I would receive an improved replacement. Based on those assurances, I returned the original. Unfortunately, I never received the replacement portrait.
After escalating the issue further, I was eventually sent a digital copy and expected to print the portrait myself. At no point did anyone offer a sincere apology, a refund, or reimbursement for the poor-quality product and the inconvenience I experienced.
I paid for a professionally produced and retouched graduation portrait—not an improperly cropped photograph followed by a digital file for me to print on my own after months of trying to resolve the issue. The entire experience has been frustrating and unacceptable.
The quality of the product and the level of customer service have been extremely disappointing. It is particularly frustrating because this is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for my son.
Claimed loss: The physical copy of grad portrait
Desired outcome: I would like to receive the retouched portrait in the mail, as I ordered originally.
