Hello everyone! I got a room at the Golden Nugget hotel and casino in Atlantic city, NJ. It use to be Trump maria but no it turned into the Golden nugget. The staff is very rude. No body wants to help you with questions or concerns. It seems as every one has an attitude. The room service food really suck and takes super long. By the time the food came up to the room it was ice cold. Over priced too! My hotel phone looked like a phone on crack w/ missing buttons. The house keeping don't clean right. Not to mention a pair of my surfer swim trunks (brand new) we stolen out of my draw. I tied to complain to the hotel manager and she stated there's no way my shorts could have been stolen. I mean was she there. Are there no thieves in this world? This hotel is very dirty with ignorant staff. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! STAY AWAY or you'll be disappointed just as I am!

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I used to stay here before the pandemic, but lately just doing day trips. First of all
the self park garage looks like its ready to cave in, Its been being repaired for years.
The casino needs updating, the buffet should be reopened and many of the good slot
machines are in the smokey back area . I used to go to the flashback Friday shows
in the showroom, now they moved it to the wave, a crowed room with hardy any seats.
I'm going to go to The Ocean casino from now on.
I went to the Golden Nugget yesterday by Bus. When we got there we found out that there computer system was down. We could not get comp points or use the comps we had. I was stuck there for 6 hrs. It was pouring so I could not even take the bus to another casino. We could only use cash in the machines and had to go to a casher with our tickets to redeem them. The only had one casher bank open and the lines where long. You would think they would have some sort of back up system. It was a very disappointing day and I will not be in any hurry to return to the Golden Nugget Casino!
So sorry you were taken. It happened to me in Nassau, so it's not that unusual. Next time you are staying at a hotel, take used clothes and NEVER leave money in the room no matter what. BTW - that is why I moved from So. Jersey to another state. It was a great place to live before gambling.
I wouldn't want to stay in a golden nugget. Thank you for the warning though.
