I recently purchased a photo blanket from Get Photo Blanket for my niece who lost her beloved dog. I placed the order on June 25th and it arrived in the mail on July 26th. I opted for the expedited shipping method, which promised delivery within 5-9 business days. However, in the confirmation email I received after making the purchase, it was clearly stated that it would take 10 to 20 business days to produce the item. So, I knew that they were not trying to scam me. It just takes time to create the item, which is understandable.

After reading some reviews online, I got a bit scared that I might have been scammed. But, thankfully, I received my item on time. I want to assure you that you will receive your item too. You just need to read the emails they send you carefully. They never promised me that I would get my item in 5 days. Even if you choose expedited or overnight shipping, it still takes 10 to 20 days for production. So, you need to count those days in addition to the shipment days according to the shipping method you chose.

I must admit that I was a bit worried about the quality of the blanket, but it turned out to be amazing. The photo was clear and the blanket was soft and cozy. My niece was over the moon when she received it. She said it was the best gift she had ever received. I am so glad that I chose Get Photo Blanket for this special gift.

The order was placed on 5/3/2020, and on 5/6 the order was supposedly sent to the carrier. But when tracking, the carrier (USPS) says "Label Created, not yet in system." I was getting worried, so I Emailed their customer service on 5/22 with my concerns. But their response on 5/26 was not very helpful. They said that it shipped on 5/7 but then they also said that "this tracking number seems to be wrong" and asked me to "please be patient" and "wait for the answer." I replied back again that same day, 5/26, and they replied on 5/29 that they "will reply as soon as we receive the reply" from their logistics staff. I mean, come on, it's not rocket science, just tell me what's going on with my order!

Anyway, after a lot of back and forth, I finally received another email - after leaving this and other similar reviews - that it had shipped. And it arrived on 6/9/20. So yeah, the customer service was poor, and the lead time was just awful. But I gotta say, the product did eventually arrive, and the quality was good. The image on the blanket looked really good. The printing looked less durable, but time will tell. Overall, I'm happy with the product, but the experience was just not worth it.

I gotta say, Get Photo Blanket is NOT a scam. I got myself a personalized blanket with a pic of my boyfriend's black lab and it turned out pretty good. The blanket is soft and all, but it's kinda thin, you know? But the picture of the pup is just so cute! The colors are bright and it looks just like the picture I gave them.

Now, the downside is that shipping takes FOREVER. I mean, it took exactly 27 days for the blanket to get to my house (production and shipping combined). So if you're planning to order, make sure you do it way ahead of time. I'm guessing they make the blankets outside of the USA or something.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I gotta warn y'all about Get Photo Blanket. I ordered a 500 piece puzzle for Mother's Day in mid-April, and it just arrived yesterday - almost 2 months later! I knew it might take a while because of Covid and coming from Asia, but dang, that's a long time.

And when I finally got it, I was so disappointed. The puzzle was in a cheap plastic container that looked like it came from Target. The website showed a nice box with a picture of the puzzle on it, but that's not what I got. And my boys were so upset when they saw it. They had saved up their own money to buy it for their mom, and it was a huge letdown.

I made a mistake by ordering from Get Photo Blanket. This website is a fake and a scam! I only realized this after placing my order. Their website reviews have no comments because they're fake! Same with this website, there are only POSITIVE reviews made by the company itself. I immediately emailed the company to ask to cancel my order, but of course, due to the 24-48 hr customer service wait, they had already magically made my blanket. Yet, I read all these poor reviews and people are still waiting after months for theirs to show.

Long story short, I purchased a blanket days after my beloved animal passed away. So, I do not have them still to cuddle. My heart sank after placing this $100 blanket order that I knew would not come, and my fight starts then to undo it. I emailed the company, and they expressed their condolences, but the item was already made. Yet, they make you believe it will take 5-7 days for products to be hand-made lol, and they would have to CHARGE ME ANOTHER 30% IF I CANCEL TO RESTOCK THEIR ITEMS I HAVEN'T EVEN RECEIVED!

My mind is honestly blown by the kind of poor customer service these people who are running this website have. I had worked retail for years, even as a manager, and NEVER in my LIFE would this fly. The blankets didn't look as good as the photos I sent, and the images on them were blurry. If you go to the Facebook page for this company, you will see that 99% of the people who have purchased from them have horrible stories to tell. They either have the same story as me that it never arrived or that it took months EVEN THOUGH THEY PAID FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING. The quality is just plain horrific! People are reporting that the dog who is supposed to be white in the photo was printed green on the very low quality crappy blanket. Also, the company claims in small print that this is painted on the blanket. The pictures do not lie, these blankets are the worst of the worst. There is no phone number to contact anyone and very few ever receive a reply back from them. Most of us are filing disputes with our bank or credit card company as well as contacting the proper authorities.

I suggest we all contact our local police departments to get advice on where to start. We should all take screenshots of every comment just on the off chance they take this page down. Perhaps we could start a private group to start documenting all the claims and get advice on how to proceed with getting this fake company FROM CHINA shut down for good! It's really important that we take action against companies like this. They are taking advantage of people and it's not fair.
