This is based on unethical behavior of a third parte seller. I initiated a return on July 22 2021 to Frugal Deals the day after I received the item due to receiving a damaged product and it was not as described in ad on amazon. The company accepted the return. They received it ac in Delaware on July 30. I was dinged a 74.00 restocking fee which was not fair. Amazon agents and I messaged the company and assured me they would have this taken care of and it was not. I had to have an Amazon agent get me a partial refund without even checking into all the facts.
The Frugal company refused to refund me and claimed their tech tested for issues and did not see anything. There was nothing to test for. They should have checked their ad and the damage was physical. That tells me they did not check the computer out nor the ad they had for that computer at the time. This company assumed that I just returned it. There is no way they could have justified this restocking fee, had the they bothered to investigate. One couldn't miss the damage. I explained where the damage was in detail and about the fingerprint reader a feature I did not want. Had it stated this in the ad I would never have bought the computer. You did not inspect this computer when upgrading and sent a defective item and I should not be charged a restocking fee. This product came damaged and not as described. At one point I had sent a message to you asking if the computer had a finger reader as I did not want one and u responded no it did not. This was not true as it did come with one. I have messages from Amazon agents on my behalf that describe these issues and that I should not have been charged a restocking free for this damaged item not as explained.

Response to their response. I am not trying to be disrespectful. I did not want a FP reader and would never have ordered from you had I known as I do not care for that feature. Check the far lower right hand side of the computer where there is discoloration on the top and looks dented where it closes.
Also your description online did not say it had a FP reader and it did come with one. Please have your tech check again How can he not see these two issues? I am sorry I did not take a picture. There is no way one cannot see it the obvious damage and there is a fingerprint sticker on the right side of the power button.

I respectfully request further investigation. Your company claimed their tech tested for issues and did not see anything. There was nothing to test for. That tells me they did not check the computer out nor the ad they had for that computer at the time. They should have checked their ad and the damage was physical. One couldn't miss seeing the damage the damage unless the checked a different computer. In which case the serial number would not match and I would have been accused of returning the wrong computer. I explained where the damage was in detail and about the fingerprint reader a feature I did not want. Had it stated this in the ad I would never have bought the computer.
