We enrolled in Flyback through Exotic Travelers, and every year the experience has been the same—unnecessarily difficult, inconsistent, and ultimately unreliable. Despite strictly following their submission process, meeting all deadlines, and receiving confirmation from Flyback that our documentation was complete and reimbursement was scheduled, we repeatedly encounter the same issue: when payment is due, they claim they never received the information or that it was submitted late, and deny reimbursement.
In some cases, we have had to push extensively to receive what was already approved; in others, they have refused reimbursement altogether despite clear documentation proving compliance with their requirements.
This year followed the exact same pattern. We submitted everything on time, confirmed receipt, and were explicitly told reimbursement was in process. After following up on the delay, we were told we would not be reimbursed due to “late submission” and were asked to justify why we deserved reimbursement—despite having written confirmation from Flyback that everything had been properly submitted and approved.
When we attempted to respond with documented proof, our emails began bouncing. Multiple email addresses failed. Phone support was unreachable. Meanwhile, Flyback continues to actively market their services.
At best, this reflects severe operational breakdown and poor customer service. At worst, it raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of their reimbursement practices.
We purchased Flyback through Exotic Travelers. While we continue to enjoy their resort properties, their lack of support in resolving issues with a product they sell has led us to stop recommending their services, too.
For anyone considering Flyback: proceed with extreme caution. Even if reimbursement is eventually provided, the process is so burdensome and inconsistent that it undermines the value entirely, and based on our experience, reimbursement is far from guaranteed.
