Had a tarmac delay due to a possible mechanical issue. I got a notification from flighty that there was a tail number change of the flight well before the captain made the announcement of the return to the gate to switch planes

While the app has been built to be nice to the eye, hiding things like the age of the aircraft behind the Pro version is stupid. Other apps freely share past flight info so you can make a guess on how late your flight might be.

Tips app in the air by a lot. Gives more info. Live updates are amazing. Also gives alternate flights if yours looks like it’ll cancel. Just wish you could save friends flights to look back on like you can your personal flights…

Poor job on international flights. Currently flight from Malta to Zurich is delayed. Not shown as delayed on Flighty. Earlier in the week flight between Cantania Sicily and Malta was delayed. Again not shown as delayed on Flighty.

No travel app features surpass those of this app. The only improvement I would suggest is the addition of a social sharing function that displays a comprehensive list of the countries visited, rather than just showing their flags.

Seeing the one star reviews over a stupid minor issue baffles me. This app works fine, it looks beautiful graphically and everything is neat and smooth.

I hope you guys get way more support and I won’t delete Flighty anytime soon:)

I keep getting notices that my flights are canceled on this app but when I call the airlines and check their website the flights are still valid and on time. PleAse fix. It’s annoying since we are paying for this service. Thank you.

They have it right. The information is precise and accurate. I love the synch with a selected calendar (although I would like them to manage synch across multiple devices better to avoid dups; as one device has it on, it works well).

I can tell a lot of time, energy and thought was put on this app, it’s simply beautiful.

The only thing I feel that it is missing is the ability to group flights by trip in addition to the list that is presented.

Taking CX2717 today July 6. Apps said flight was early. So let lounge went to gate. Turned out it was delayed. Apps continued to show flight taking off while I was at the Gate waiting to board - not dependable. Google is more accurate!

Family subscription is super expensive BUT there’s still no way to automatically charge flights between family members.

Also hides the fact that subscription can only be shared through family store account.

Wish I could get a refund.

The app is great, best one compared to any other ones in the App Store. Addition to tracking ur flight it gives u tons of other information. However 4 star because you have to pay to use most of the features that makes this app superior.

Absolutely amazing UI and very cool features, but it is missing one major thing-baggage claim information. Other flight tracker apps provide the belt number that baggages will be released into and I would love to see Flighty do the same!

"Hi, I love your app, but I cannot add friends to share my flights. More specifically, the app says 'a link cannot be created for you to share.' I hope you could fix this bug so we can use the share feature on the iPhone as well. Thanks."

I love Flighty and even spent money to get the pro version. The only thing I wish it would show is estimated boarding time. Gate departure time is useful, but depending on my group, I'd rather be at my gate closer to the start of boarding.

Edit update- shocker. My airline app was the issue.

Edit Jan 2024- the app stopped syncing with my calendar but when the app updated two weeks ago it was fixed. Now iOS has updated again and the app OS back to not updating. I have a ton on my schedule and would like if it was synced again. I tried to send a message through the website but it said I needed to report issues through the app. When I tried to do that it just kept making a zip file without ever giving me a way to email anyone so I’ve resorted to deducting a start and hoping someone can reach out with a solution.

I love this app! Since my airline banned being able to use some 3rd party apps I’ve really struggled with finding something that keeps me up to date on my flights. The only drawbacks are: I would love to see this available for for Apple Watch, I would love to be able to save individual trips. I know I can see past trips but they are all just grouped together as a long list of flights. It would be nice to see what I did on a three day work block a month ago. I love that this app keeps track of my inbound plane and when it’s delayed. I also love all the info on the aircraft like it’s age. This app is well worth the money for pro if you fly a lot. It gives me alternate routes if it looks like I won’t make a flight and I love know what gate we are going into as well as baggage claim info that I can give to my passengers!

I have tracked thousands of flights with other apps before I found Flighty. I don’t know what I was even doing! Flighty is faster, more consistent, and provides all the relevant information you need in one place. It’s simply the best!

No matter which flight of mine I try to add, past or future, I get an error message saying “Unable to add flight. Please try again.”

Everyone’s raving about this app, and I know it must good, but for some reason, it’s unusable for me.

Can’t overstate how much I enjoy this app. Not just for the information when I’m actually traveling but also for the amazing visuals and design that make screenshotting of flight paths and telling others about my upcoming or past travels.

I travel frequently, and would say if you go on more than 2 trips a year it’s worth the pro purchase. The flight tracking, notifications and all the pro jazz is so worth it. The team is still working to build cool new stuff constantly too.
