Like many people (I'm sure) I suckered into false advertising and fake testimonials on the internet for ACV (apple cider vinegar) gummies to aid in weight loss. Very deceitful ordering process resulted in me overpaying for two bottles of 30 gummies each ($129.99) plus a "metabolix cleanser ($59.99) I didn't want, for a total of $189.98. All I wanted was the ACV gummies for the advertised price of $39.99. Received the gummies and cleanser from Fulfillment Center - P.O. Box 7000 - Smyrna, Tn 37167. Over a 20 day time period I took all of the gummies and they did absolutely nothing at all. Then a few days later I received two more bottles of gummies which I had not ordered and a receipt for $129.99. I have tried to contact Fulfillment Center which is very difficult to do and when you reach them they say they are simply a shipping service and I need to contact the vendor. They did say they would investigate and get back to me in a few days. Never happened. Fast Keto is impossible to contact and so is Metabolix Labs. It appears that they have put me on an automatic plan to continue to get the gummies and be charged $129.99 each time. I never authorized this. Both transactions were charged to a card which I have now cancelled to prevent further abuse, but I am now out $319.97 for something that was misrepresented and unauthorized. As an over 80 retired fixed income guy this hurts.
Desired outcome: Cancel any automatic shipment plan Honor advertised satisfaction guarantee and refund original purchase and second shipment. I have cancelled the card these charges were on so they will have to issue me a check for $319.97
I added a comment to my own complaint questioning what complaintsboard does. It doesn't appear to me that anything is happening and the comment I added isn't visible. It's making me wonder even more what complaintsboard does and I've seen posts saying that it is a scam and only wants our money. I've seen nothing to indicate that though so it is unproven. The more I look at the site however, the more I question it. The glitzy moving boxes that are almost impossible to read and the difficulty in viewing my own complaint (until I finally figured out to click the little human figure at the upper right on the opening screen) and the lack of any response or contact leaves me wondering. I'm still out $319.97 and angry about this scam.
