Explore.ca Travel Group review: Refusal to return a refundable deposit

Do not use the services of Explore.ca Travel Group and Tony Thibault. It is a scam.

In March 2014 we paid Tony Thibault a deposit of $1, 840 to organize a trip for four in July to Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick. His proposal clearly stated that deposits were refundable except for $200.

In April we had to cancel our plans. In the last five months we have emailed and phoned Tony Thibault multiple times but he refuses to respond or to refund our money.

The Halifax Better Business Bureau has several complaints on file for Explore.ca Travel Group and Tony Thibault and has given him an F rating. Some complainants had paid Thibault in advance to arrange services only to find on arrival that Tony Thibault had passed no money on to the other business involved.
