Expedite Media GroupScam and stealing

C

I had an account with Expedite Media Group for One Month. The service did not help me for the first $300 that I paid. I closed the account within 30 days (Opened March 10, 2008) but as I checked my bank statements (to do my taxes on January 26th 2009), I found that Expedite had charged me ever since March and continued through January 2009, sometimes twice a month. (I emailed and called and it stopped). Total $2200 charged in excess of the first month. 10 Charges in 8 Months.

I have an email dated April 10th, 2008 showing, I was only supposed to be billed $300 for the first month which happened on March 10th 2008. Our emails back and forth in the first month show that the service was not working for me and I trusted that the account would be closed and no more charges made.

Two employees (Nicole Meyer, Manager to/and Kate Malley, Account Rep.) have said that a refund was in the works but it has been over a month. They continue to say that an email will be sent to me that I have asked for many times and that they will have the accounting department call me in and hour (never do).

They have said that the first $200 that I am asking for, I am not entitled to because it was billed before I canceled. They billed too early and sometimes twice per month. I canceled within the first month.

This is totally unbelievable that they can stay in business doing this.

Chase Bank Visa says that there is nothing that they can do for me.

These guys took $600 from me and produced no result.

After i complained they offered no help and more over, they posted a no refund contract on me that I were going to have me sign before I could use them.

I know exactly how you feel. They fraudulentely charged my card of $13, 000. A webiste that should've cost me $6, 750 ended up costing me over $19, 000. Brian Kramer and Mike Dirmiekis are thieves. I suggest to everyone ripped off by this company call the Police. I'm in another State. I just called the Police in my city and they are doing an investigation. I will not stop until this company is out of business.
Also call the Better Business Bureau and the Attorny Generals office in your State. I did.

I would suggest that everyone that was ripped off by this company to call your local authorities as I did. I am located in another State, and the Police are doing an investigation. Also, call the Better Business Bureau and you Attorney Generals office.
We should not let them get away with our hard earned money.

I got royally screwed by this company and they are now threating me with "We are taking you to the wall on this". They just keep charging our card with no end in sight. Calling the owner is like speaking to a street thug. Run away as fast as you can. IF YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD YOU WILL SEE ENDLESS CHARGING AND IF YOU CALL THEM YOU'LL GET NO RELIEF

Add another to the growing list of complaints. We gave Expedite Media Group a detailed and highly-targeted list of our direct mail contacts for them to append with opt-in email addresses. They completely disregarded the specifications we had agreed to and could locate valid email addresses for only 4% of our contacts. This is a disgrace; an exercise of this type should be very easy work for a company who maintains an opt-in database. If the complaints about these rip-off artists aren't enough to convince you to avoid them, consider the complete lack of professional standards and unresponsive customer service reported here.

They are known as 3 different names: Simplicity Media, Expedite Marketing Group, and Expedite Email... All of which.

    My Charges:

    1. I signed up on a $400, Million Email plan with Simplicity Media
    2. They charged me 3 or 4 times during the same month, and caused absolute chaos on my personal account. I filed a complaint with my bank and stopped my credit card to make sure they would not continue to bill me.
    3. The only reason I got any headway was by getting my attorney copied on an email that I sent over and over and over to them.

    Concerning their Service:
    1. My experience with them is that they are absolute crap. They sent out 1, 000, 000 email to a great list only to get almost NO HITS on my site. I used the same list and took 10, 000 emails and sent if from my outlook and got literally 8 times more hits than the 1, 000, 000 they sent out.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH ANY OF THESE COMPANIES

    Furthermore:

I just this email marking spam from Expedite Email putting MY NAME in the FROM BOX stating they are emailing ME on behalf of ME which is HIGHLY ILLEGAL from what I am told.

If the FRAUD and DOUBLE AND TRIPLE CHARGING has taken place by a lot of us, then I do suggest possibly a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT against them.

I totally agree! They are HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE "Expedite Media Group"... It is a shame that when you search an email service on yahoo they are one of the first companys on the list. So i'm wondering how many people been scamed or are in the process of being scamed!

What goes around comes around. I have the bank investigating Expedite Media Group for fraud. Hopefully we can prevent them from doing it to someone else.

also: They are known as 3 different names: Simplicity Media, Expedite Marketing Group, and Expedite Email...

I tried them one year ago. Same results, or lack thereof. Cancelled the service. Now of all of a sudden, exactly 12 months later, I get 5 charges for $860 dollars. I called the credit card company and they inform me that Expedite has been trying to run charges varying from $2, 600 to $19 numerous times the past week. What am I, their personal ATM machine?!?! I'm no legal eagle but isn't this wire fraud? I dealt with Brian Kramer - brian.[protected]@gmail.com. Of course, no reply to emails and no return calls.

This company is now also going by "VB Management Holding Company" on Career Builder and Expedite Email Marketing "expeditemg.com" and "expedite-email-marketing.com".

They also run other sites called Text U Save "TextUSave.com", Pure Internet Media "pureinternetmedia.com", Dios Design "diosdesign.com", Text SMS Marketing "textsmsmarketing.com, Email Marketing Power "email-marketing-power.com", XXXpedite "adults-websites.com", Paid Opt In "paidoptin.com", Bulk Email Broadcasting "bulk-email-broadcasting.com.", Buy Email List "buy-emial-list.com", Axcel Internet Technologies "axcelinternet.com", Email Marketing Blitz "email-marketing-blitz.com", Expedite Simplicity "expeditesimplicity.com", Absolute Simplicity "absolute-simplicity.com", Email Marketing Power "email-marketing-power.com" and I'm sure many more.

"Expedite" also screwed me over royally. I was starting a new business in promotions and I was offered FREE e-mail marketing and list rental from them in exchange for hanging their banners at one of my events. I should have known that this sounded too good to be true.

I spoke with the business owner, Viet Nguyen, who told me that they needed my current e-mail subscriber list and that they would add hundreds of thousands of email addresses to it and send out an email blast all over Chicago advertising my upcoming event. They asked lots of questions about my business, and I answered them unsuspectingly.

Needless to say, I got ZERO results from this emial blast, and no proof that it ever even went out. But I thought, "who cares, it was free."

A couple of months later, a friend brought to my attention that a website resembling my exact company and my exact website (wording and all) was just launched.

After looking into it further, the address and contact info matched that of Expedite Media Group. Interesting!

They went so far as to use images and video from my events on their website and passed it off as their own.

A few weeks after this, my family (who was on my subscriber e-mail list that I gave to Expedite) started receiving email blasts from this new promotions company advertising their event (which happened to fall a week before my next event).

Viet never wanted to help my company and was never interested in doing business with me. He had been planning to create a promotions company exactly like mine, and used me to get all of my business information and customer contact information. He's a smug, arrogant jerk who just wants to make a quick buck, and starts business after business to achieve this.

Does this really sound like a professional, ethical business they are running?? The owner used their employees and services to rip off a customer and start a new competing business in order to make a few bucks. Ridiculous!! Just check out their score on BBB.org. An F! Are you surprised??

Bottom Line...DO NOT WORK WITH EXPEDITE !!! Unless you want your inside business information used against you...

I wish I had found this board before doing business with Expedite, or whatever they call themselves this week!

We were looking to move our email business from an existing email provider to a new partner and decided to test the system before making a commitment, good job we did not move over totally as after the first few months it became a disaster!

The level of customer service is appalling, not only do they take double payments out of your account without your knowledge, when you try to talk with them to sort it out their customer service is non -existent.

I have left in excess of 10 phone message, sent loads of emails and wasted far too much time, but they have stolen my money! I highly recommend to anyone looking to do any email marketing to totally avoid Expedite Email.

I have been so hacked off with them, i have published an e-book with the email strands so anyone else looking to do business with them will not make the same mistake - see http://www.expeditecomplaints.paperviewer.co.uk

You are welcome to add to it!

The same thing happen to me, I signed a contract with them to redo my website for $13, 000. The said it took longer and was more complicated then when the quoted the project so they just kept on charging our company card for the additional "time" it took to create the website. Only the 13, 000 was authorized, which if I knew what my end result would be I would not have approved. The website sucked! Do not use them!!!

I just got scammed out of 3, 000.00 on an email list that was supposed to be in my area and of homeowners that double opt'ed in.

Oh yes! As I sent it 43% bounced. The remainder of the list sent me "nice" LOL emails to stop emailing them as they don't own a home.

Has anyone heard of, or done business with, a company called OfficialEmailMarketing.com out of BC, Canada, who may be associated with MarketingServices123? We signed up for a bulk email solution with them and now got an email saying we have to send a form to [protected]@marketingservices123.com to get access to our account. From what I'm reading I'm included to run, and very fast, away from this company. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Three days ago I purchased two domain names from Network Solutions using a credit card I seldom use. Today Expedite Media attempted to charge that same credit card $1500. I called them and they won't talk about it. I called Network Solutions and let them know they've been hacked. Just way too big a coincidence that a card not used for months buys domain names and three days later gets an attempted fraudulent charge from a website development company.

I just signed up on this site because I have just officially been SCAMMED

I hope people reading this will:
    1. Avoid being trapped the same way.
    2. Possibly point out how I can send these people BEHIND BARS WHERE THEY BELONG.

You can also call me stupid if you like.

I put up a couple websites, built some software, wrote an ebook and enjoyed some decent success. I looked for a way to kick it up a notch. I decided to promote my project management freeware application to students. I thought the best way to do that was an opt-in email campaign.

Perhaps the idea wasn't bad: free product that really helps, a couple affiliate ads and some adsense...

I looked into companies that offered this and saw through a few obvious scams like www.spamfreeadvertising.com (If you use Alexa, check out the comments you'll laugh.

I found a company that actually had a physical address, a real phone number and a clean Better Business Bureau record, or so I thought.

I started getting doubts when they used gmail to send me their proposal, hesitated a couple weeks and took the plunge anyway.

To keep the story short, I'll just say that their campaign stats were nothing close to what my webstats and google pageview output were telling me. In a minute I knew I was screwed  .

I won't rant on about how the phone calls went, I'm sure you can imagine. The proposal is legally worthless (I could have sent it to myself).

I'm in for a $1100 net loss, + the phone calls (long distance).

Then I did what I should have done before, look deeper. They move every six months and have a BBB record for each address. The past ones aren't clean, obviously. BAM!

It'll take me months to recover from that and actually do some advertising that works.

    STAY AWAY FROM EXPEDITE
or any website with the word expedite in it.

Unfortunately they rank high in google under "email marketing", so these people are making a BUNDLE of scam money (enough for quite a few people to live on apparently, + the occasional move from one town to the next).

Any suggestion will be highly welcomed!
