Expect bounced checks, broken deadlines and DOWNRIGHT LYING by the director M. Dayanand and the manager Adrian Demos.
I know women employees who have been hit on, asked to dress more provocatively, and salaries not given to a lot of empoyees. I know people who have been blackmailed. If you work there, you're stuck until they fire you. They'll delay your salary by 2 months. It's like slavery. If you quit, YOU DON'T GET YOUR SALARY.
This is one company that does not have any ethics.

Dayanand Muthukrishnan (alias Daya) & Adrian Demos, you guys are sick, manipulative and disgusting. I hope jail time is in store for you. They even destroy all the invoices and make their own to evade taxes or whatever. You do not pay your employees or vendors. You do not pay rent. Screw you both. Just stop doing business and stop hiring new people and messing with them.
See my friends, If you people need to get ur dues from this ###, pls inform to the police. One employee worked for them got the same experience. They suppose to give around 2.5k. they tried to settle with some very minimal amount. He got very good contact with police level, so finally they settled part by part full amount because they scarred police case. See all the companies wont have financial prob. some companies will have for sometime not like this. pls check the complaints came in this site. I escaped from the hell without my salary. Otherwise I will get mad am sure. But these guys are doing some pre-planned dramas. hardly very few people will work with them for long time. The other comedy is Adrian Demos is still working there without salary. Actually he is following the line, "Work is..." Guys, u all can fill up the blanks. Dear Great Dayaji, u have to retire from the field. U can settle in mumbai & try some pan beeda shop, that will be good.
They withheld pay from me :( making up some excuse - esp if you're not from karnataka they take advantage of you because you have no one to help you...

What a [censor]ed up place to work! Adrian Demos has no manners AT ALL. Gentleman by day, perve/[censor] otherwise. And Daya? Don't even get me started! I quit from there after 4 months. Couldn't take it...
Great talent, messed up management. They hire really good directors, artists and copywriters, pay them for the first couple of months and then stop start lying to them so they'll work for free.
Karma will get you Daya and Adrian. I hope soon. Shame on you two for the things you do!
They're people, not cattle. The income tax department should pay you guys a visit someday.
Please note - Daya likes to hire "interns" - don't fall for it. It's just cheap/ labour for him, nothing else. You're better off working at O&M or ANY of the smaller advertising agencies.

Here's what Daya does.
Hire you. Promises you a raise in 6 months.
Pays you for 6 months. Regardless of you giving it all you have, you NEVER see that raise.
He slowly stops paying you on time. If he says 'tomorrow' - it means one month later. And the check he gives you is dated to be late for at least a week.
If your check doesn't bounce, you think ohk, maybe it was a one time thing. But it happens the next month and the next. Then he delays your salary for 2 months. You don't want to quit because then he doesn't even pay. He promises you that it'll be sorted out. Before you know it - you haven't received your salary in months!
Soon you are fired for not doing your job. Even if you put in late hours, even if you put in weekends (mind you there is NO OVERTIME PAYED BY THIS PIECE OF [censor] COMPANY) - EVEN IF THE CLIENTS TELL YOU YOU'RE DOING A GOOD JOB. He then hires his thug Adrian Demos to rough up people who ask for their money. Well not physically, but he just doesn't have any manners for a senior level manager.
Honestly, worst PR agency I've worked at. Also, Adrian's somewhat of a pervert, I caught him oogling me once.
And Krityanand Kundan how dare you say that it's propaganda?!? You're just lucky you didn't go through what other people go through. Maybe it's different in the Delhi office, or maybe you have boobs and that's why daya likes you and pays you on time.

Worst place I ever worked in. Daya, you're boring and your ideas are [censor] to say the least. And Adrian Demos, you're a rude horrible person. You both need to treat your employees with more respect.
At least start by paying your current employees for slogging for your rich fat [censor].
Whatever Daya and Adrian are upto is purely illegal and Im sure that very soon these two will get into a huge legal issue, these two are simply inviting this. I pity all the employees working there now, putting in their 100% as they all WILL be swindled, sooner or later, of their hardearned money.
There are laws in this country against such crooks but alas, they have taken it for granted. They are also be-littling the labour laws.

I've been wanting to post here for a long time ever since i stumbled upon this thread about my former employer.
It was horrible working there. I put in so many hours and so much time and yet my salary was delayed by 2 months and even then they try to weasel their way out of it.
Daya/Adrian, you guys are just mean and I'm sure whatever you've done is illegal.
Krityanand Kundan, I hope your father Daya never stops paying your salary like he did for so many people.

Worked with Garniche the Ad Agency(?) of EXL in a senior capacity. Absolutely poor understanding of the industry and all elements that go with it.
They did not even pay me or anyone who worked with me throughout the time I was there. Hell, they even conned the poor old widowed land lady of her rent. Cheques from EXL will bounce, if you are a vendor or an employee.
PLEASE DO NOT do business with them. This space isn't enough for the number of people they have cheated. The two people to be most wary of are Adrian Demos and Dayanand. Both are crooks in suits. They will draw you in and then treat you with absolutely no respect despite their obvious lack of knowledge about the fields they claim to work in. Unethical, cowardly, cheats with limited brains for anything other cheating good honest hard working people of their time and money. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS if you value your professionalism and time.
I worked in pr also... i should have never worked there... poor and crude management under mr. adrian demos... and dayas...
I worked there 2 - they'll use any excuse not to pay when i was there...
work weekends, work late - all for FREE!
i hope daya and his second hand man adrian stop treatin the lower level employees like cattle someday and take something positive frm all this

I worked in their PR dept 1 year ago and I have to agree it's a pain to work there. I'm a hard worker but they made me run around in circles and it was a waste of time.
Krityanand, I'm sure you're just a new Accounts Manager and you're talking about propaganda when in fact it sounds like you're supplying propaganda on behalf of exl. I'm happy that you're getting paid on time, sadly it's not the case for everyone. I have recently spoken to other former employees and they too agree.
I am working here as Manager and i do not find any of the problems mentioned above. I think this is the propaganda done by someone who has to leave the organisation due to his inefficiency at work. I found my fellow employees cooperative. At times i have faced some difficulties, but my Seniors and Daya himself helped me to overcome difficulties. I have a fatherly respect for him and I am so grateful to have him...
I worked there for a good year... worst time of my life... worked weekends without pay, my salary was delayed... yeah... daya n adrian - better watch out for those two! not a legitimate place to work at - too much shady stuff going on there...

Sure, every organization has had to delay salaries due to working capital pressures during the recession period over the last one year. And we certainly regret any inconvenience to our staffers, present and past, in this regard.
A self funded and well respected organization, EXL Group has a sizeable number of women employees and we have never heard of the kind of incidents reported by the complainant, in this complaint.
It would be have proper if the complainant had addressed this in person with the management or any suitable authority.
We invite the complainant to visit our office in person and present details of all accusations and enable us to investigate this issue in greater detail. We assure prompt action.
