On Monday, 8/10/26, at 11:00 a.m., I was driving northbound on Rt 72 N a two lane hightway, from Manheim PA to Lebanon, PA.
At this time, I was traveling abt 45 mph; I went around a bend and slammed on the brakes as I quickly encountered a parked Estes truck with a type of fork lift or something similar on the very back of the open bed vehicle.
No cones, no flashers, a black man with shorter hair, braided tight to his head was climbing on the back either unfastening or fastening the fork lift type vehicle on the back of the truck.
I could not pass as there was traffic coming the other way and I immediately became nervous and put my flashers on as I did not want a vehicle to slam into me since it was a blind bend and they would not see me idling behind a park truck.
After a few minutes, traffic in the oncoming lane was open enough for me to pass the truck. As I passed, I called out the passenger window and said, "You need cones or something - you can't park on a blind curve." The man yelled back, "Shut the F up!".
I can't imagine any experienced truck driver sitting idle around a blind curve without cones or other warning. Efforts to make phone contact with the company revealed to me why their voice systems does not allow for someone to speak to a customer service agent to report this.
As I passed the vehicle, I was looking for the company name and luckily caught the name - Estes
