Empire Plan review: Waiting for a letter for 2 months saying I don't have the empire plan insurance

I have medicaid insurance. I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medication and was told I had the Empire Plan NY insurance. I do not have that insurance, so my medication was not covered. After calling the empire plan I was told I am not in their computers at all so they don't know why this happened. Medicaid needs a letter from the empire plan saying I don't have insurance with them and until they get this letter they can not reinstate me in medicaid. This has been two months now and many phone calls later, I still have not received a letter and neither has medicaid. They refuse to email me the information. Since then, I have not been able to pick up my medication. I simply cannot afford it. I am in need of this medication and it seems like a simple fix but the empire plan is not doing its part to help me.
