The Democratic Party in other Colorado Counties succeed in winning Municipal Elections mainly in Denver and Pueblo while in El Paso County they don't. For Years it has been obvious that much needed changes in leadship styles have been long overdue in Colorado Springs. The Conservatives have kept a stronghold area in this area for years and The Democratic Party seems to be less than aggressive when it comes to municipal elections. The population of Colorado Springs besides the Military consists of Progressives, and a high LGBTQ population. Many folks complain ls the Conservatives in power over Colorado Springs but the Conservatives win every municipal election. Conservatives who complain about Liberals being career politicians successfully place Conservatives who are themselves Career Politicians such as Mayor John Suthers who was the District Attorney of El Paso County then was elected as Colorado's Attorney prior to becoming Mayor of Colorado Springs. The Democratic Party runs extremely passive campaigns when it comes to municipal elections. The Republican Party maintains control over the local democratic party which is the reason Democrats never win local elections. To put this another way, Democratic Candidates are Republicans in disguise in El Paso County. Corruption in local politics is prevalent but no action is ever taken against it. Currently Mayor John Suthers is raising funds for Wayne Williams who is another Conservative dictator the succeed Him as Mayor and the El Paso County Democrats sit idly by and takes no action. Doug Lamborn, Republican continues to be a Congressman who has been in office for more than 10 years, also the El Paso County Democrats take no action to remove Him from Office. The Unrest in Colorado Springs that had commenced in the summer of 2020 and the Murder of D'evon Bailey who was Black in 2019 by a Colorado Springs Police Officer should have been a clue to local conservatives that the time has come for Conservatives to remove their political stronghold over the City. The rate of Poverty and Police brutality has skyrocketed as a result of the Conservative dictatorship. The El Paso County Democratic Party must remove their spies working for the Republican Party from their positions and replace them with Real Democrats. Únrest in Years to come is very likely for as long as the conservatives insist upon ruling over the area with an iron fist.
