EEZI Movers/Abertina Transport review: Furniture movers

In November 2023 We requested a quote to move our household furniture from Cape Town to Stilbaai. The online process used was difficult to say the least. (Non editable pdf files), which included masses of Terms and Conditions, plus payment upfront. My fiancé has worked in the furniture trade for years, and wrapped every piece far more securely than any movers would have done. Even the men that picked up the furniture commented on how well it was wrapped, so we were reasonably confident there would be no issues. WRONG!

We asked that everything be offloaded into the double garage. I was asked to check that everything had arrived, but with three men unloading it was impossible to check each item.

It was only when we were unwrapping did we see that one of the dining table chairs had been damaged, but the broken part had been removed and discarded, making it extremely difficult to notice.

I was asked to submit pics which clearly showed how devious the perpetrator had been by discarding the broken piece!

Three days later we had a call stating that EEZI MOVERS took no blame for the breakage, AS PER THE TERMS and CONDITIONS!

They have a license to destroy a persons home!

No amount of arguing (and eventual rage) budged them. They are moral thieves!
