I have moved multiple times with them and ive chosen not to complain whilst multiple items damaged with each move, nut wife always pressures me not to complain. As we live in a remote area and not too many companies come this way we opt to reuse them and hope that will be better next time.
I used them twice last year, 1st time moved just a few but very expensive items, 33k dinings set, damaged badly, fridge and freezer brand new delivered from Makro before being transported, damaged with not less than 20 dents per item, to summarize 5 of 6 items completely ruined. I complained as the eezimove driver thought was very funny telling us how they damaged all our items moving them from one truck to another and received a ridiculous 5k of damages after many many mnths of fighting as they refused and refused until I told them I had several witnesses willing to testify that their driver actually told us how each item was damaged.
I gave them another opportunity, dont know why to move a 5 bedroom property furniture a few mnths later and literally everything was wrecked beyond repair in front of our eyes with 2 men unable to offload truck and literally dropping items in front of us over and over again. Picking thier just broken items up and sliding them on top of other items and damaging them.
Beds they tore dragging on our drive way, lounge suite they tore in front of us as they pick up by the cushioned arms (55k) lounge suite, plant pots smashed, chairs they stood on in front of us to reach truck breaking two in front of us, 7.5k desk completely ruined as they slid a cabinet they broke in front of us on top of it. We watched in horror as they dug a deep score through the wood laminate completely destroying this desk which we loved. 3 desks and 2 cabinets broken into pieces a we saw these items fall off truck in our driveway to the point that my wife and I told them take everything off the truck and leave and we had to carry all into house by ourselves. My wife recently had knee op and we had to move all items ourselves to try save what was left. Most items took 2 people to carry so she had to help.
On top of this, upon collection of items at the collection point, despite great details given and booked long in advance, they refused and had stand off to load truck as they were only 2 men and the stuff was heavy.
This caused me to spend hrs calling all offices from JHB to KZn to try have managers force them to load truck.
I spent many many mnths just trying to even get a tresponse from them to which they refused to even entertain the matter.
I invited them to my home several times to inspect all broken items and verify what happened but they never even responded.
Crooks, almost every single item too many to list.
when you look online there are hundreds of people having identical experiences where they actually see thier items being dropped and broken and Eezimove just shrug shoulders.
No insurance can be claimed, evereyone just accepts that nothing can be done and they carry on doing business.
Utterly ridiculous.
Spoke to several other people with similar experienes with this company.
If required I can furnish more evidence, pics, emails correspondance etc etc.
