I am responding to several posts, accusing E. Burnham Cosmetic Co. of "ripping" people off. The Company says they will be sending you a shipment, they tell you when, they tell you how much...All the consumer has to do, what the company has written. I think this company is not getting fair deal, simply because individuals do not read what is in front of them. I ordered the same "free" travel sized retinol creme, with it came all the above instructions. I received my first order of retinol creme, with a bill of 27.95. I am very happy with the product. My skin has never looked or felt better, and I will keep on buying this product. This is a two month supply, and the company gives you a number you can call to adjust the schedule of your shipment or to CANCEL it.

I've been scammed before, I'm glad to be a member of ScamClub, however, I don't agree with attacking companies, simply because people don't read the brochure. YOU cannot blame that on the company..It wasn't even in small print.

    You are referring to a postcard for a free 21 day sample, it clearly states on the card that after 21 days if you do not call and cancel you would be sent out a full size jar at the club price with an invoice. Sorry you must have missed that part, but as long as you call us we are always here to help resolve any kind of confusion people might have. Might I add E. Burnham Cosmetics has been in business for over 30 years, we have thousands of satisfied customers on our club plan. And even more customers outside the club shipments. Thank You, hopefully I helped in some way.

    Unsolicited sample cream and then notices to pay and then collection letters. Any ideas from anyone on how to resolve this issue?

    Once again I want to add to my previous comment regarding E Burnham cosmetics, they have been great with me, even let me pay half of my bill upon receipt of the product and then the balance a week or so later. No pressure which is wonderful and their retinol cream is so good. It never irritates my skin or my eyes and my skin is in the best condition it's been in years. I plan to continue to do business with the company and hope to be able to afford to buy more products in the future.
    The best part too is the prices are very reasonable when compared with some others on the market, both in stores and online. The only one I found to be reputable is Hydroxatone, they actually allowed me to return the product and didn't charge me just like they promised. But they're too spendy and I like E Burnham much better. It's just a real comfort to know there will be no unpleasant surprises, and they even sent me a free gift with my last order.
    So I'm happy. I feel bad for whoever had a negative experience, that can be a pain and then everybody loses.

    I want to clarify my last post... I was talking about another company, not E Burnham when I mentioned the ripoff etc.

    Just wanted to make sure to be clear about that. I have no complaints as of yet regarding E Burnham and I'm hopeful that will remain the case.

    I have to agree, the company has been fair with me so far and I LOVE the Retinol cream. It's very gentle on my skin and does exactly what they claim it will. That is rare, especially when ordering online.

    I have dealt with rip-offs before online, sent for a product and returned it with a return auth # and they never refunded my money and I even had an overdraft at my bank, etc. And come to find out, that company had several complaints exactly like mine and was even reported more than once to the Better Business Bureau and that state's Attorney General.

    So, I'm happy to be dealing with a decent company for a change. Because I had to learn the hard way to the tune of over $100.

    I agree with this blog. I have dealt with this company for over three years and each time you receive an order, the instructions are there; plain and clear, what to do, if you do not want to receive another shipment. I love their products.
