As a customer, I have every right to review the business "Duck Duck Frenchie" a.k. a "Lee Two & Three, Inc., SOS ID: 1570093" and the business owner(s) Sun Hee Lee (secretary) Sung K Lee (president) of High Point North Carolina, GUILFORD County.

We purchased a puppy from this breeder(s) and our puppy died of heart disease at only 11 weeks old. Our puppy, known as Sun from the "Sun, Moon, Star litter". When we arrived and made contact to set a time for pick up. Sun Lee wanted to meet at a gas station to swap cash for puppy. We expressed we were not comfortable with handing over a large sum of cash at a gas station. (5, 000 balance after 1, 000 deposit). That we wanted to see the home where our puppy was raised. Sun Lee then agreed to let us come to her place of residence. The first thing we saw once inside her home, is a room with large kennels holding puppies from 2 different litters. No furniture in sight, just dog kennels. At this point we really should have walked away, but I did get distracted by seeing the puppy. He had brown crusty stuff on him and dirty ears. Other than the dirty part he seemed ok. I told myself I will give him a good bath.

He had diarrhea right from the start. When I told Sun Lee about the diarrhea, she said it was probably from the journey/adjustment. It wasn't, he had diarrhea soon after picking him up. After some time we got his diarrhea under control and things seemed normal.

Next our puppy's sudden death came, 1 day before turning 11 weeks old. We took him in for a necropsy exam to find out the cause. We gathered preliminary information from the vets and informed Sun Lee of the death of the puppy. The vet suspected bacterial infection or parvo, as is often the case with heart disease causing death in a young pup. I asked Sun Lee to inform the buyers of the litter mates, incase the whole litter was affected by something we didn't know just yet the cause. She said she would wait to tell them until I had the final report. So I emailed her the preliminary report in hopes she would notify them.

After the final report came back, I emailed it to her. The puppy died from Severe Necrotizing Myocarditis, as explained to me, he would have had some sort of infection early in his life. The infection passed, but NOT without causing heart damage. The standard protocol is to test the puppy for any infections, bacteria or parvo. The puppy tested negative on all 3 tests. The puppy was not sick with infection while in my care. The tests did not show any current infection in his system. I have to write this because what happens next is just wrong! Not only does Sun Lee refuse to refund our money, she blamed me for his heart disease!

Soon after passing blame to me, she then text me offering to refund 3, 000, half the purchase price of the puppy. My husband and I discussed it and decided to accept the 3, 000. Not because we thought it was a nice gesture on her part, only because we were ready to move forward and put the whole experience behind us. Once I sent her the banking info for payment as she requested I do, she then accused me of fraud!

She demanded picture proof that the dead puppy was the one she sold to me. I was in shock that she suggested such a thing as passing some other deceased puppy off as hers, as to fraudulently obtain cash from her. I sent her deceased pictures of our beloved puppy. That was incredibly hard to do and at a point we are still grieving hard for our puppy. She then acknowledges that it is the puppy she sold to me.

So great all that's left to do is for her to send the payment we settled on. She did not, instead she continued to send me messages expressing how SHE felt she had been the one unjustly treated. She said the puppy had a wellness check and therefore was healthy.

The fact is, you can not diagnose severe necrotizing myocarditis with a basic vet check. I asked her vet if they performed any blood panel testing or chest xrays on the litter. The vet said no, it was only the basic check for that litter.

I believe that poor little puppy had an infection early on and that is why he had the diarrhea. She had wrote me earlier that all the puppies (her words not mine) "had a poop party for a week straight" "some puppies were eating poop", but that she got it under control. I think that was the point in time the little puppy might of had some sort of infection that injured his heart.

We had very little time with him, but loved him very much. We still grieve for him and have a very hard time even mentioning his name. This breeder did not handle the matter in a good professional way and made the matter much worse. It came down to greed for money and not for the love of her puppies as she claims.

Mine and my family's experience with this breeder has been heart breaking and incredibly horrific! I do not recommend this breeder, buyer beware. Sun Lee hides behind a lot of insincere words and petty tactics. It's her actions and her manner, that show her true self. Healthy puppies don't just drop dead from a heart disease at 11 weeks old!

In memory of our sweet WULFY may he rest in peace (formerly SUN - red collar puppy)

UPDATE: Almost 4 months after the death of our precious puppy, Sun Lee refunded 1/2 the purchase price of the puppy 3, 000... It took her 4 months to do this, when it should have been a complete full refund as soon as she was informed of the death and the cause of death. Why am I out 3, 000 for a puppy that died from heart disease? I have no puppy and she gets to pocket 3, 000... This is the type of person/breeder that she truly is and this is my warning to you... You're taking a risk if you purchase a puppy from this person. I wanted to update this information.
